I am a DYI'er and have started my woodworking business recently. I have met Robert from Amicus UK (over the phone) for various advice's on finishing products and he was really helpful and highly knowledgeable in his domain. Robert spent a lot of time answering various questions which I had on finishing and he patiently advised me on everything. Great company to deal with and great service. prompt delivery of products. Beyond amazing! Nicest, loveliest, people ever. We have recently redesigned our quite boxy and boring house.The front has been cladded with Burnt Larch and has a Cedar Canopy. The wood had started to discolour from the sun (in a good way) and now a lovely blue silver. We wanted to keep the colour and hence needed some proper UV resistant, external lacquer.Robert, and his team were unbelievable helpful. They explained that the best coating required a complimentary pigment and colour matched a matt UV resistant lacquer. We have spent a lot of time and energy on the front of the house - so did not want to then varnish it with something that would ruin it. I have never met a more passionate, lovely team. I spent ages in the shop explaining and they spend even longer making samples and getting the best finish. I don't actually think they made any money out of this. Really great to meet really awesome people - ABSOLUTELY GREAT in every way :)
