Great the bridge goes onto the new footbridge over the main carriage way, pity the access between bridges is prone to flooding.

We conducted a random search on Google Maps to find a suitable location for swimming, which led us to Powick Bridge. I highly recommend this place; it surpassed my expectations and turned out to be an amazing spot. The 26-mile journey to reach here was truly worthwhile.

The first battle and last battle of the civil war was fought here between Cromwellian troops and Scottish and french mercenaries.

A great view of the River Teme. Free parking but only space for about 8 cars. Well paved cycle lane leading to the pedestrian and cycle bridge over the bypass. Footpaths alongside the Teme were a bit overgrown.

Great old bridge and chimney close to where the battle of Worcester took place. A small car park and nice walks across the Powick Hams.
