Fab service! Staff are always extremely polite and friendly despite how busy the pub usually is. They are amazing and a credit to the company.

I had a brilliant experience in The Five Swans. The food and drinks are very inexpensive, and they are of great quality. Staff were nice and friendly, but the trip to the toilets can be complex if you're on the bottom floor. The free refills with the coffee or tea is of extreme value, and was quite a highlight. I had a great time here, and will come again.

A weatherspoons. This was was bustling. The Newcastle game was on; which added to the ambience.Let's get the negative out of the way;plenty of tables but lack of empty tables. Probably due to the football match.The positive well out weigh. Good atmosphere, refillable coffee , quick service to the table when ordering on the app.Food is cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for.Good experience on this occasion and visit.

The service was good but the staff was slow. (OK was busy due to Newcastle Pride the day I was there that day) But, apart from that, it was reasonably OK

Vegan option (fiesta burger) came with cheese in which obviously wasn't in the ingredients list. I think it was cross contamination with the order my friend had (halloumi burger)...Also the order was misleading as the fiesta burger lists 6 onion rings in the burger components as well as the ones you get with the meal listed at the top. Was disappointed as I had expected 12 in total as a result.The overall experience left me with a bad taste in the mouth pardon the pun.EDIT: They wouldn't do anything about it when it was highlighted to them in a complaint.

What can I say .. you know you're going to get what you came for at Wetherspoons. The Swans has quickly became a favourite of ours when we shop at Newcastle. Food ordering is easy using the app, service is quick and the food is cooked and presented very nicely. We have never been disappointed.

Great pub, very nostalgic for me as it is where I used to meet mates who went to the universities in Newcastle.The place is huge - what a labyrinth. Toilets are obviously miles away, hidden away upstairs.Food was good, staff were very attentive, and the Sunday evening vibe was great. I sat nearby to two 80-year-old gents who had a very interesting conversation (albeit overheard) - this gave the pub a very local feel.Outdoor garden is a great sun trap!

Usual Wetherspoons fare. Food was tasty, nice lager . You can't complain at 2 meals and 2 drinks for less than £20
