We met David right at the start of wedding planning, not long after getting engaged, and he was the first supplier booked after the venue. Chatting to him at the wedding fair we instantly loved his relaxed and friendly style which runs through both his photography and his personality. We knew we wanted a laid-back wedding, and both instantly felt that David would be the right fit. This became even more important in the run-up to the wedding last year! He took the changes and potential back-up plans in his stride and was so supportive throughout.Wandering around Edinburgh getting our portraits done is genuinely one of our favourite memories of the wedding: Between trying to hold on to my dress in the wind, getting caught up in a peloton, and slowly side-stepping to get the perfect shot, we had a lot of fun. We felt like David really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understood the spooky vibe we were going for with our Halloween wedding. I could honestly talk about my favourite photos for hours – David has a great eye for location and timing, and we loved all the wee surprises he added, like bringing along a smoke bomb and playing with exposure to make me look like a wee ghost!We were so excited to see how the photos would turn out and we were not disappointed. We were initially shown a taster slideshow of photos, before seeing the full digital pack and being sent a stunning wee keepsake box. Everything about the physical product is lovely and really speaks to David’s eye for detail; we especially loved the box made with sustainable materials, and the printed photos are such beautiful quality.If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly, fun and imaginative photographer then this is your guy. All in all, David captured a beautiful moment in our lives and we cannot thank him enough!

My husband and I are quite introverted when it comes to big events and photos, so having an elopement with a photographer who captured natural shots that weren’t posed was important to us. After having a zoom call with David, we knew he was the perfect photographer for our day. He was also one of our witnesses and drove us to our ceremony in a wee convoy with the celebrant and other witness, which we are so grateful to him for! He made us feel completely at ease, captured all our best angles and what a great time we had chatting all things music and LOTR. We are absolutely over the moon with our photos and so glad David was able to be a part of our special day. The photos capture our emotions and the atmosphere so well, especially with the backdrop of the highlands. Can’t recommend David enough!

Cannot find the words to express how grateful we are for everything. David photographed our wedding in January at a venue he'd not been to before. He communicated well before the day and arrived early to look around the venue. After the wedding, David was quick to get us some preview pictures and subsequently put a highlights reel together. His use of light is excellent and we are really pleased with our pictures. David captured some wonderful candid shots and captured some of the nicest pictures of our parents we have ever seen!

What can we say? It was an absolute delight to have David photograph our wedding. He was so lovely and funny and put us at ease from the word go. He allowed our personalities to shine and we really enjoyed getting our lovely photos in the castle grounds. He captured so many special moments. We hired David for our September wedding in Edinburgh. From the start he was wonderful! Very accommodating, very patient and the shots came out perfectly! Extremely high quality and when I review them it takes me back to our special day. He was able to capture the emotion of every single guest who attended. I highly recommend hiring him!
