Fantastic company to deal with. Put a request on their website and Melvin contacted me right away. When I explained the problem I was having he told me it was no bother, he could fix it and quoted me a price. Handed my laptop into The Control Panel and received a message the very next day to say it was ready. Couldn't ask for a better service. My laptop feels like new again and the price I was quoted on the phone was the price they charged me, no hidden extras. Will definitely use this company again and would highly recommend.

Melvin was a great guy helping me with my laptop and also was able to fix my laptop and make sure it was up and running as well helping me connecting it to my phone and giving me a lone of a charger when i needed it when i for studying. good place to go too

Great customer service, got back to me straight away with my query. Constant communication as I had to order a part for my laptop. Very professional set up. Fixed it on the day in no time at all when the part came in. Gave me advice on other problems concerning my laptop battery. Cleaned it at no extra charge. First class service with a smile. These guys are quick, efficient and reasonably priced.I had an old hard drive with our whole lifetime of photos and videos which I managed to break(thought I'd blown it up). Popped in and they had it fiexin less than 10 minutes with great advice moving forward about doubling up on storage.Highly recommended for any issues.Thanks guys

Great service once again. This was my fourth visit to The Control Panel over the years (with different equipment) and once again the service was first class. The guy's tried to fix it remotely, but it was not possible. An overnight stay at the repair shop had my PC back in business again the next morning.If you have a problem head for The Control Panel.ps. A problem (not enough knowledge on my part) in getting my photo printer to talk to my computer was quickly resolved the next day over the remote link. This was carried out at no extra cost and with the utmost patience.

Great shop. I dropped my laptop here after having taken it to three other places closer to home to try and repair it and being told three different things by each place.Melvin and his colleagues had a plan right away, and explained every step to me clearly. The tests and final diagnostics were very quick and efficient, and they kept in excellent contact throughout, sending photographs of various stages in the process.Unfortunately, they couldn’t fix it in the shop, but recommended I contact Dell with the details of the tests they had performed.I did so and the laptop is now in for repair with Dell (for a discounted rate, no doubt thanks to all the information I could provide)!If I have any issues with my computer in the future, the Control Panel will be my first call! During the initial chat with Mel, he told me how much it would cost, and then asked me some questions about what I needed from a laptop. My main reason was to use Microsoft Teams for online video meetings with medical professionals, but I'd also use it for watching DVD's, streaming and playing games.The laptop I had was an older model and wouldn't have been compatible with Teams, so Mel offered me a better laptop for an additional £50 more than it would have cost to fix my old laptop.I returned an hour later to collect the laptop and Mel had transferred all my files and photos onto it and he had installed and tested Microsoft Teams for me. He also showed me how to set up a mobile hotspot so I can use my phone data to access the internet on my laptop.I left the shop not only having a new (pre-loved) laptop, but I also learned something new, win win!Around 10 years ago I bought a Dell all-in-one PC from The Control Panel, I use it every day, (as my TV), and it's still going strong!I highly recommend The Control Panel to anyone looking for good prices, brilliant advice and friendly help.

Managed to save all my coursework and data when my laptop randomly broke, such a quick service and gave so many recommendations for new machines and helped set up my new one!!! Lovely people and service which I would recommend to everyone.
