Petals and Powder

I booked this class as a surprise to celebrate our first wedding anniversary of paper.We like to think we’re creative people but this really pushed our boundaries. It was great fun and we were both so surprised with what we ended up with!Vicki was lovely, she helped guide and encourage us to have an open mind and not focus on perfection.Would definitely recommend!Thanks again Vicki!

We had the most calm and nurturing time at Petals and Powder. We made lovely wreaths during my friends hen. Vicky was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Definitely would amply recommended this business to anyone seeking to learn a craft

When we came to choose floral arrangements for my husband's funeral and later thanksgiving service I really appreciated the gentle guidance Vicki provided and the ongoing dialogue we had throughout the process. Her knowledge of the most suitable flowers, foliage and berries to use was very clear and especially what was suitable for drying meaning everything wasn't just thrown away and forgotten from the first display but used as the basis for the next one which had more height. It was great to continue the story in being taught by Vicki how to make wreaths from elements of the final display an experience I found to be reflective and calming helping to ease the sadness of this time. I have a new skill and the wreaths are lasting reminders of how we came to honour my husband's memory. The colours we chose are autumnal and will hopefully cheer me next year as I recall all the care surrounding this time

Just had a wonderfully relaxing morning creating my unique Christmas wreath with a lovely group of people.Our teacher Vicky was excellent. She demonstrated what we were going to do and gave us clear instructions, offering help when needed. The session was well resourced and very organised.I would definitely recommend it to others. A lovely start Christmas. Thank you so much.
