Mot, nice staff to do business with and communicated well to ensure I was able to collect my vehicle in a timely manner

Took my VW passat in for a minor repair after an idiot damaged it and drove off. I decided to pay myself due to insurance excess barely being less. Listers wasn't the cheapest quote.. but were by far the most courteous and professional of the VW garages I called. Some garages were downright patronizing. Listers gave me an appointment when I called, and told me it would take a few weeks as the part needed spraying to match. The part was ready when I arrived, no problem and the car was repaired quickly, you can't tell it was ever damaged. I was offered a free car wash and vac but had to decline as was rushing back to work. Mike on the service front desk offered to get it washed next time I was in the area which was very nice of him. Showroom, waiting area (fresh ground coffee and other complimentary drinks) free wifi and clean loos made it a pleasant place to wait. Would recommend if you are looking for polite helpful staff as well as good garage know how.

My car was collected and the service was excellent , the work done on my car was excellent as well . All in all a good days work , thank you to you all

Customer support is fantastic. Free coffee, and this time, cake. Unfortunately the heating was broken, so everyone was freezing. But I was treated as royalty

Took my Golf to have it's MOT, usually have this done in Birmingham where it was purchased. Prior to me taking it for it's MOT, I had to visit this place as I had a warning on my dash and I was unsure how to resolve. Another garage asked me to book in for a service, however I needed to take a long trip in a matter of days. The guy at VW sorted the issue within minutes, no payment needed. A few weeks later booked my MOT, great service and feedback, honest recommendations, no hard up sell. Overall a great experience!

I work in community and got a flat tyre. I called Listers and they told me to bring it in and they would sort it out for me despite being fully booked for the day. They were so accommodating. Only charged me for the tyre and got a car health check as part of the service. It identifed other bits that need sorting but the guy explained everything in detail and it was nothing to worry about right now. They really helped me out in a tight spot. Very much appreciated and great service.

I am writing to share my recent experience at VW Listers in Coventry, where I received assistance on the 4th of August 2023.I would like to start by expressing my appreciation for the service provided by the lovely lady who attended to me and my vehicle. She was extremely helpful in addressing the issues I had been experiencing with my vehicle. Prior to my visit, a VW dedicated technician had advised me that I needed a new battery for my vehicle, even though it was less than 5 years old. I was somewhat surprised by this, as batteries typically have a longer lifespan. However, I must acknowledge that the dealership conducted a thorough health check on my vehicle, and the lady assured me that if this battery issue was a result of a manufacturing fault or defect, it would be covered by my extended warranty. This gave me some peace of mind.My concern, however, is that I was charged a £120 diagnostics fee for something that had already been identified by the VW technician who had visited me a couple of days prior. While I appreciate the care and attention provided by the dealer, I was disappointed that no assistance or gesture of goodwill was extended to me. This is especially frustrating since my vehicle’s battery is less than 5 years old, and I had installed it myself using the vehicle’s service manual, purchasing the battery from another reputable dealer in Leicester.I also want to acknowledge the courtesy of providing me with a vehicle for the weekend until the following Monday, on the condition that I return it in the same condition with the same level of fuel. The vehicle was handed to me in a clean and well-maintained state, which I didn’t have any issues with.In summary, I must commend the people at the dealership for their exceptional service. However, I feel let down by the VW brand in terms of assisting one of their customers who holds an extended warranty. As a first-time customer of the brand, this experience has left me questioning my loyalty to VW and considering alternative vehicle options.Kind regards,Haaris Minhas
