Steve's Wood Floor Fitting

Steve has done a wonderful job fitting our engineered wood flooring. I would definitely recommend him. He will discuss and agree what the job requires and maintain communication throughout - highly professional with an eye for those small important finishing details.

My partner and I were very impressed with the work Steve provided on our house. He went above and beyond making sure our floors were fitted exactly as they needed to be and kept us informed on what he was doing and why. His knowledge on the subject (as well as other non-floor related things) was also much appreciated, advising us on what would work best for our house. Overall he was an absolute pleasure to have round to do the work! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else in the local area to have your floors fitted.An absolute champ!

We recently had Steve install our new oak floor and wow, the final result is stunning. Steve's quote was competitive and yet the bar for quality is very high, he definitely knows his craft when it comes to wood flooring. He kept us informed throughout and we couldn't be happier with the final result. Steve will be my first call when we'll get to renovate downstairs.

Steve fitted new Laminate flooring down my very long hall and living room. The floors and walls were very uneven (as it is an old house) and he spent time to make them level and look great. Steve's experience in the trade shone through and he made suggestions as to what would look good and kept me informed at every stage. Recommended.

I was really impressed by Steve's craftsmanship. His attention to detail stood out and we are delighted with the finished flooring. He said that he believes in doing a job as though he was doing it in his own home and the result bears that out. I have recommended him to my daughter who needs some flooring laid.

This has to be the worst tradesman I have ever used and I have done four renovation projects in the past so have experience of working with various people. Steve was the highest quote I received but I thought I would get a good service. He has fitted the flooring in my living and dining room but nearly all of it squeaks now plus he has ruined my new oak door after trimming it and making it unlevel with jagged edges. My skirting board that he fitted is also out of alignment as it wasdone in 2 parts but it looks so bad have had to try and fix it by adding a ton of wood filler but still looks bad. The worst part is I have phoned him to try and resolve these issues and he has now blocked me!! So unprofessional. I did give Steve time to come and fix before posting this but he has just ignored me.
