I just took delivery of my new Lake CX332 shoes. Thanks to Dougie for his help and advice. Very happy with the shoes and the excellent service from Dougie and the team. Highly recommended!

The staff are super friendly and approachable. They took my old, beaten up second hand bike which I’d been having multiple issues with and fixed it into a smooth bike which is super nice to cycle with! It was really fast and a very fair price. Cannot recommend highly enough if you need anything bike-wise or even any recommendations for cycle routes! Great shop and great people. 10/10

I went to see the team prior to my first 70.3 for a bike fit and some advice on equipment for the race. Not only were the team great to deal with, they gave me a range of options in terms of equipment and work to be done to the bike which allowed me to pick what I needed to suit what was basically a beginners budget. Douglas especially gave me some incredible advice on fueling tactics which were actually race-changing. The level of customer service was some of the best I have received including Douglas helping out with a stuck pedal the night before I was due to fly because I couldn't get the bike in the bike box! I would 100% recommend them to anyone else looking for some advice and assistance with their bike.

Can’t recommend the team enough. Went above and beyond to ensure I purchased the correct shoe for cycling (and this was an online purchase). Offered to assess the fit via photo which gave me reassurance they care more than just selling a product. If I ever find myself in Scotland I will make sure to say hi!

Following recommendation from a friend, I recently arranged a bike fitting with EBF to ensure correct frame sizing before purchasing a new road bike. Dougie's impressive knowledge and professionalism inspired confidence from the outset. His technical analysis, assisted by motion capture technology, of my required frame and optimum riding position was excellent. He also then talked me through various bike options matched against my criteria. By the time I got home from the appointment, Dougie had already messaged with a bike recommendation. A couple of text exchanges later and an ideal bike, at a significantly discounted price, was agreed and ordered through EBF. When I went to collect it a few days later, it was set up perfectly with the modifications we'd agreed (tyre widths/narrower handlebars, etc) with no adjustments needed. Dougie also fitted cycling insoles and improved cleat sitings for my shoes as part of the service. I was delighted to have been sorted with a new machine so quickly having anticipated that the consideration of options, decision and set-up would take me weeks! I am grateful to Dougie for his excellent advice and attentive service in making this process so easy. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend EBF.

As a professional athlete, bike position and comfort is hugely important. Dougie has fitted me multiple occasions across different bikes, and he’s always looking at the small details to maximise comfort, stability and power.My most recent fit was on my time trial bike, which involved several key positional changes to open up my hip angle, improve pelvic stability and eliminate any knee discomfort. All of which have really helped with my comfort on the bike.I’m always really impressed with his professionalism and friendliness which makes the fitting really enjoyable. Had a great bike fit with Doug, I am completely new to cycling and he took the time to explain everything in detail including how to look after the bike properly and what shoes would be best for me! Couldn’t recommend enough for both newbies and professionals

I'd never had a bike fit before, but thought it was a good idea with a new bike on the way. Dougie and the team are really friendly, helpful and full of advice. The fit was very detailed and has made a massive difference to my comfort on the bike. It's also helped me get more power and pace on even simple training rides, and the new shoes supplied by Dougie are brilliantly comfortable. All in, a great experience and I just wish I'd done this sooner!

I now feel at one with my bike and so very comfortable. I had issues with my off the peg bike shoes. I tried Lake shoes which come in different widths and could not be happier.
