TK Maxx

Tried a new TKMaxx today in Swindon. Very pleasantly surprised as it was the best TKMaxx we've visited - spacious, clean and tidy. The stock was in better condition than we've experienced before and there was plenty of it.The home wares were very good and I bought a beautiful fur throw from a huge choice at excellent prices.But the best bit was the fabulous cafe! Such a surprise! All freshly prepared food and with quick service. We had really good tomato and mozzarella on sourdough bread, beautifully toasted and served with fresh, tasty, pasta and orzo salads which was all delicious. BUT... the best thing was the portion of the most scrumptious chips we have eaten for years! We'll definitely be back again because we've still got to try the lovely selection of cakes!There is disabled parking right by the door, the layout is spacious and there is a lift to the first floor.Definitely 5 stars.

Well laid out and stocked store. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking can sometimes be tricky during busy times.

A massive storeQueue was short, but only 2 cashiers meant there was quite a wait to be served.Lots of free parking, but can get busyI am sure there is something for everyone here.Always a sale rail too!

Their Treasure program is a real scam. Be prepared for your keys to burn very quickly. And you won't be able to use your reward. But these are not all the problems you can face in TK Maxx

My recent visit to TK Maxx at Mannington Retail Park was a fantastic experience. The location of the store within the retail park made it easily accessible, and once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere.The staff at TK Maxx deserves a special mention for their exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and the employees were more than willing to assist me in finding the items I was looking for. Their friendly and approachable demeanor created a positive shopping environment, and it was evident that they value their customers' satisfaction.Navigating through the store was made easier by the organization and layout of the merchandise. Despite the vast selection, the staff's assistance and the clear arrangement made my shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Whether I was browsing for clothing, accessories, or home goods, I felt that the staff was readily available to provide guidance and answer any questions.In addition to the excellent customer service, the variety of products available at TK Maxx was impressive. The store had a diverse range of brands and items, all at great prices. This made the shopping experience even more delightful, as I was able to find unique and high-quality items without breaking the bank.Overall, my visit to TK Maxx at Mannington Retail Park was a memorable one. The combination of convenience, outstanding customer service, and an extensive selection of products makes this store a must-visit for anyone looking for a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience. Visited the cafe. Make sure you order large drinks, as even they are smaller than other cafes. Nice airy feel to the cafe, but the number of orders being returned, was huge. The cafe had also run out of butter, so they had to go to M&S to buy some.I'm sure the cafe staff are great, but they need training, and the food/ drink stock managed properly. I'm guessing that the staff are probably on 'minimum wage', in contrast to the John Lewis partners, who previously ran a cafe here.Disappointed that the mens toilets stank, and the urinal flushing didn't work.In summary, ok for a quick cuppa, but manage your expectations.

Worst service I have ever experienced in the cafe, they forgot to give us chips with our sandwiches so we went and asked if we could have them, they said “chips aren’t included” when the sign said sandwich with chips or salad and we just got a sandwich, all of the other sandwiches they then sent out also had no chips, but when the other customers went to ask for them they were given to them immediately. After half an hour of waiting having finished all our food we asked again and they said reluctantly we could have some, waited another half an hour with more customers going and asking for their chips, being given them immediately, still no chips for us! Asked 4 times and was met with very rude replies “there’s a long line you need to wait” when we had asked first. We left in the end because it was humiliating watching them serve every new customer and ignore us.

Staff are great and polite, visited during peak times and was still plenty of tables available. The staff behind the cafe are kindly polite and very helpful. Food is great too! I had rice and a tuna melt and a green reviver smoothie, at a total of £12. Great price I am so FULL haha!! Rice was flavourful and soft grains too. The tuna melt was hot and the mozzarella definitely did it’s thing!! Great flavours. Purchased something from the food section on the top floor and they had ALOT of food! Pasta, sauces, Asian foods, memorabilia, tons! Purchased caramel waffles at a price of £2.99. Joined the queue and had 2 people on till, did take a few minutes for another staff member to arrive but it was quick and efficient. Can’t remember the lady’s name but she was kind and made me comfortable with a few comments about the waffles. Great staff. Great place.

This branch has a good range of food and household/ stationery/ art materials.The clothes are always disappointing, with a narrow range and almost no quality designer items. No longer worth making a special journey.

A great place to spend a pleasant and useful time. Prices are sometimes high, but generally affordable. Good quality product. Customer service is ok.
