AVOID THE BRATWURST SELLERS. SCAMMERS. The Bratwurst sellers are scammers who try to over charge you for a bland, tasteless bratwurst for way too much money. Only an idiot would think this Christmas market is 'amazing'

The market changed hands a few years ago and since then it has been really disappointing. Food options are very expensive and use cheap ingredients with nothing surprising or exciting on offer. The vibe is 100% make as much money as possible for the worst quality of food. For example there is a waffle stall that uses pre made waffles despite having an actual waffle iron on site. The waffles are the ones you can buy in Tesco individually wrapped for £1. This market needs so much improvement compared to other major cities. The market vendors selling items, I believe, are still independent so this review does not reflect on them. This is purely regarding the food part of the business. Save your money and go to other cities Christmas markets. Bristol deserves so much better as do the residents that pay so much to live here.Side note: this part of the city centre has really taken a nose dive. It is not a nice place to be like it used to be. Litter everywhere and so many closed shops and atmosphere isn’t very nice. Bristol city council should be ashamed for letting the city centre become a no go area almost.

Well varied market with a lot of delicious treats, including all the classics and a place to buy a Yorkshire pudding roast dinner wrap!

Faux German. Cute little huts with the usual jewellery, scarves, cheese and pottery with a German style beer and sausage station at each end. They lost a star as the Currywurst was a squeezy bottle of sauce over a sliced sausage. Proper sauce guys, not a supermarket knock off.

The German Market is shrinking... the people are friendly, it's always bust, great choice of everything too... but... its just lacking a few stalls now...

Whilst the stalls were nice, a group of friends and I booked one of the domes for a get together and felt like it was just one thing after another. Our booking came with prosecco but we were told that they had run out so we were limited to 2 bottles for our two hour slot. Though there were lots of bottles at the bar, we were told we couldn't purchase a glass of prosecco as there wouldn't be enough for the rest of the day either. When we went to order different drinks, there was a very limited selection for high prices. No tonic for a G&T.Although our booking was confirmed by email as 2 hours, after 1.5hrs we were told we would need to leave the dome in 15 minutes as it was booked by someone else. When we questioned why our confirmation said 2hrs, we were just told that it was wrong and that the website would say 1.5hrs.The toilets were disgusting, 2 female portaloos for a very busy market, one of which was overflowing all day to the point they screwed the door shut, taking it down to one.Just all felt poorly organised and bad value for money. If you want a nice festive get together with friends I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This market is absolutely awful. It used to be so much better.I made the mistake of buying a pork roll on my last visit. Not only was it sodden with a watery fluid that discharged all over my clothes, the pasty white bread upon which it was served was barely cooked. There's a stand selling fresh doughnuts, but they aren't fresh. They had been left on the counter in a paper bag and were completely cold. They have a fresh" waffle stand

Pretty grim :-( Starting from the price of the Yorkshire pudding wrap £12, (bearing in mind that in most pubs you can get an ample roast meal from £12 upwards), moving on to the small plastic cup of mulled wine for £6 - mostly water & syrup. The Churros were possibly the best value, freshly made & delicious. The market is simply a seasonal money-grabbing exercise. Will not be visiting again even if you paid me.
