Rapid Horizons - Outdoor Adventure

Great fun with plenty of interest and rapids to negotiate. Good equipment and the inflatable kayaks were really maneuverable. Opportunities to take a plunge, rock jump, paddleboard and more. Gary was a knowledgeable and capable instructor. All transport and gear provided. Well worth it.

We had a great afternoon kayaking with Gary, our instructor. He was friendly and approachable as well as being extremely knowledgeable. He gave clear safety instructions and ensured we had the right kit. He tailored the trip to our abilities and how much of a challenge we wanted. His colleague, Sam, was equally helpful & friendly. It was a lot of fun and a fantastic introduction to kayaking, leaving us wanting to do more of it!

Fantastic morning spent river tubing with the Rapid Horizons team. Everyone was so welcoming & put us at ease straight away. All equipment was included & in good condition, safety briefing was professional & Sasha, Gary & Pringle made us feel safe whilst ensuring we had lots of fun. The team kindly shared photos & video footage of our time on the water & we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

What a fun way to travel down a river! Have been wanting to try tubing for a while and I'm glad I chose Rapid Horizons to do this with. Our guide Jon was excellent and made the experience a fab one. Lovely scenery and a good laugh all round, thank you!

Great fun, personalised approach, friendly team and exciting experience. John did great job introducing us to kayaking basics whilst ensuring we had good time in a safe environment. My friend who did it for the first time ever and isn't particularly good swimmer also enjoyed herself. Having some previous experience, I found the advices and explanations of verious techniques super helpful, so got quite a lot out of the session.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon kayaking in beautiful surroundings! The whole team was super professional, friendly and reassuring for us newbies! Tracy looked after two of us while another coach looked after a separate stag party, showing a thoughtful and personalised approach.Within 20 minutes on the river we were both pretty capable paddlers. The devious Missus always trying to soak me, but my newly learned kayaking nimbleness made me too evasive.Can honestly say this was one of the best outdoor activities we’ve done in the U.K.Fantastic afternoon in the best of company.Thanks to Tracy for her patience, expertise and then sending through photos.Thoroughly recommended.White water rafting next!

We had a fantastic time on the kayaking adventure tour today with Rick, who was a great laugh and incredibly patient while we were beginners. Had lots of fun on the smaller rapids and enjoyed lots of bird spotting. Brilliant value for money and can’t wait to get booked in for a rapid kayaking session soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic day out!

Brilliant experience. Coach collected us and took us to the starting point. All the equipment was provided. We had 2 instructors Sam and Emily who were really helpful and friendly. I was a little nervous as had never done this before, but they were really informative and encouraging. They also made it fun and challenging. Would highly recommended this company.
