Cute little find in the area, stumbled in here as a friend wanted to explore. Very small but full of interesting finds. Feels a bit claustrophobic once more than two people enter but good enough. Sells a variety of books, stationery and self published items.

There is no rivalry against the GIANTS in the book industry like Amazon and Google offering readers the immediacy and plethora of literature online. However, I would argue that small bookstores are where the love of reading thrives. There is no better experience than going to a new bookstore asking someone hey

This is a super cute, unique hidden gem in a bustling neighborhood. The books here are all limited editions and artfully selected. It’s hard to describe in words what types of books Bookart has but it is totally worth checking out and spending time to explore this hand crafted store.

Amazing left-field bookshop with poetry, Art and literary books (and small-press publications) I never even knew existed. Great for pop-up books, puppet and toy theatre books too. Essential now Pollacks has gone. A joy.

Fabulous bookshop devoted entirely to artist’s books and small press publications. Tanya, the wonderful founder of the shop, was a delight to talk to, and even showed us rare gems from her personal collection. The bookshop also doubles as the headquarters of the London Institute of ‘Pataphysics and should not be missed by Alfred Jarry enthusiasts. Lovely experience all around.

This is the preeminent bookstore in London. It contains everything from pop-up books to rare works by 'Pataphysical, Surrealist, Dada, Oulipo authors and the poetes maudits. This is a necessary stop for any bibliophile.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tanya, the owner, today. I was so pleased to be able to tell her in person how brilliant her shop is... full of treasures. Artful, interesting, small edition and collector's items... their magnifiscence almost masked by the casual way they are displayed. You won't find a 'Do Not Touch' sign here! Tanya encouraged me to explore every nook and cranny, the trust she has in others (handling of expensive one-offs) made me feel like a truly valued customer. Tanya is full of imagination and her shop refects this. Bookartbookshop is on my list of TOP BEST SHOPS in London!

Timing was bad as I showed up just as the bookshop closed for a summer break, so I’ve yet to visit, but they were very helpful remotely. Looking forward to it reopening!

The owner was incredibly unhelpful; seemingly preferring to chat with a visiting friend than assist me in finding a book. Not the widest range of literature, very niche actually. Good luck finding what you want if you visit.
