I was invited to a soap making course by a friend and totally enjoyed the experience, not only of making soaps, lotions and conditioner bar but understanding some of the science. Ervin is passionate about his business but also sustainability. A gorgeous shop in a great location. Would highly recommend visiting and attending workshops.

I visited recently and as a person of colour often struggle to find soaps, shampoos and conditioners that don't strip the oils from my hair and leave it feeling dry...so I asked the shop manager amd he was very knowledgeable and gave me some conditioner which included Argan oil...since using it, my hair has never felt so good!!!! Smooth, silky, healthy and definitely not dry! Thank you for a good recommendation and a good product

I lived in Oxford for a year (from Canada). I can't even begin to explain how unique this soap is. The English lavender is my absolute favourite. It would make our whole bathroom smell amazing.I would look forward to hopping into the shower on a cold day because of this soap. Since leaving England, I have tried to find a similar soap and have had no luck. The Oxford Soap Company is genuinely an incredible brand and will forever leave you thinking about it.

I recently ordered some soap and shampoo bars.I didn’t realise until I unlocked my last shampoo bar that they’d mistakenly given me a conditioner bar instead. I have tried conditioner bars before and found them useless on my dry hair, but as I had it, I thought I’d try and I was so impressed. It left my hair just as soft and untangled as liquid conditioner, and I use a large amount of liquid conditioner for my long dry hair!Great product and thank you for the mistake!

Exceptional find! We were here with extended family and the 4 teenagers did the 2 hour soap workshop which was well worth it! They made great products and had fun! I’ve been looking for shampoo soap bars too and none have lived up until I tried his. The owner is kind, has great craftsmanship and lovely products!

We had a great couple of hours doing a workshop making our own soap, body scrub and hand cream. We learned so much about the history of soaps and were very impressed when we made our own. Highly recommend it, great fun and we'll be coming back to do another one soon.

I attended a workshop here with a friend this week - we had great fun making soap, hand cream and a conditioner bar. It was just for the two of us so which made it so much more personal and interesting. We learnt so much as well. The products in the shop are so lovely and such high quality. I throughly recommend you try the workshop and will be purchasing my soap on line from here in future as sadly, I don't live in Oxford!

Lovely little shop tucked away in the Covered Market. Loveliest owner who told us all about his shed/shack/hut where he makes all of his own soaps. They're wrapped and packed nicely for gifting with a tag that gifts details about the soaps. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces on that cold afternoon :)

Such a wonderful place to get lovely soaps. I could spend an afternoon here. In fact I had only 5 minutes, but the kindly proprietor was wonderfully tolerant of my over hasty buying at lunchtime, when I was dashing to classes! I bought so many products, all gift wrapped and ready for Christmas. I really recommend these soaps and other products - an ecological shampoo bar they do is really effective and means no plastic bottles. I am so glad to see an indie shop like this in the Covered Market.
