Update on our first review.Actual Landscapes have recently completed landscaping our rear garden. It is absolutely beautiful. We also had lighting included which makes the garden look comletely different at night, effectively, we have 2 new gardens.We have been pleased with the result which has been carried out professionally and to a high standard. The team responsible for the installation, mainly Mikey and Keiran, were exceptional. They were punctual, polite, and extremely hard working. All the people involved in the process have delivered an amazing end product. Thank you Rory, highly recommend your services. After moving into our new house, we decided to have the garden designed professionally. I'm so glad we did, Rory (Actual Landscapes) gave us a variety of designs and had obviously listened to our likes and dislikes, mine being the huge shed my husband had installed. We went ahead and now our garden is absolutely gorgeous, the shed is disguised and the garden is easy to maintain and so relaxing. Mark who did the hard work helped by Lewis was amazing, so funny and extremely thoughtful. They both worked so hard and Mark has become a good friend. The amount of compliments we have received is amazing. We were so pleased with the design, work and professionalism that we had the side and front garden done also. Actual Landscapes are now in their second week of a decking replacement project using porcelain planks.Rory previously visited on a number of occasions during the planning stage. His professionalism, knowledge and advice was invaluable and all is now coming to fruition.Mark and Lewis are punctual, considerate, tidy and knowledgeable and have been working hard in hot conditions.Will post an update when project completed.

Can not begin to say how disappointed we are with the service offered by Actual Landscapes. We made our original enquiry back in January, paid a deposit and arranged for a visit to discuss our requirements. Rory came out to see us and talked a really great game. We agreed to pay a significant amount of money for plans to be drawn to create our dream garden. Our requirements and budget were very clear from the outset. Rory returned several months later (after a couple appointments he failed to attend) with several sets of drawings that were so far off our brief we were left feeling really underwhelmed. We persevered and agreed a further visit to deliver something closer to what we wanted. The price he then quoted was more than double the highest budget that we had given him.We asked for a breakdown of the costs which were not clear or consistent in the detailed plan he left us with. We wanted to know if we were asking for too much or was it the prices they were charging. We still reamined optimistic that Rory and his team could deliver what we wanted within budget. We are now 4 weeks on, and despite a number of follow up messages and emails we have not had a response.We feel that this company is conducting very sharp practice - taking money for designs that didn’t fit the brief or the generous budget given for the area.I know that this will prompt a response (as all the negative reviews have) but our experience is not a good one.

Actual Landscapes are superb. I had the front of my property redesigned by Rory and the team and I was blown away by the forward-thinking designs and practical ideas. Actual Landscapes transformed our miserable, tired looking garden into a vibrant, yet relaxing haven. It's hard to believe the transformation in just a few weeks and friends and family can't believe it either!Rory is a very creative guy and gave us four design options (all of which were excellent) but I'm glad we went for our chosen design. We threw a few curved balls at the end of the project but Rory was always accomodating and professional - and has the patience of a saint!The two guys who worked tirelessly (Sam and Mikey) had all weathers to contend with (baking heat one day, torrential downpour the next) but were always professional and hard working and a great laugh!Needless to say, highly recommended!

After the initial consultation, Rory provided 3 options and different designs at all covered the criteria I was looking for when designing the garden. The ideas included, lighting, water features whist still making the garden safe for my grandchildren. The design was finalised and the team (Mark, George, Lewis) were fantastic, very friendly and throughout the job held good communication with myself around the Aesthetics of the garden. Actual landscapes have completely transformed a patch of gravel and slopped grass into a stunning garden with lawns, patios, and boarders which marry together with the surrounding fields and views.A great range of shrubs and plants fill the boarders, many of which I have had compliments on from visitors. The lighting around the garden and on the water feature transforms the garden again a night. Extremely happy with my garden, and pleased that I have used a trusted company that has been there from start to finish.Once my furniture was placed around the garden, I am able to enjoy the most of the daylight and evening hours
