RCD Dog Training

Recently started 1-1 training sessions with my Lurcher and am SO pleased with the progress after just 2 sessions!We’ve gone from having absolutely no recall to having a good bond and success rate outside!Can’t wait to continue our hard work!Thank you so much RCD!

I'm very grateful to Adam and his team for the support and the range of services they’ve provided for me and my young Belgian Shepherd over the past few months.My dog has used the kennels, where he was kept safe in secure grounds and looked after by a good team who fed, watered and played with him. I enjoyed a bundle of pictures of him at play which set my mind at ease whilst I was away. The shop is well stocked and very reasonable for dog food, treats and some essentials.Of utmost importance to me has been the support and help I’ve received in developing my confidence in handling my dog and building a bond. This has been done through dog socialisation walks, one-to-one training, and group training sessions.The group training sessions have been a godsend. Meeting other dog owners, sharing tips, and peer learning has helped me enormously. I’m looking forward to future classes and joining the next set of sniffer dog classes when they are available.I’ll take this opportunity to offer a big shout-out and thank you to the broader RCD team, who clearly work super hard in the background. And Adam – thank you big time for your patience, humour and continued support.

Adam has worked with Duke and I for the past 12 months. Initially with lead work as Duke pulled a lot. Moved on to recall and heal work off lead, working with distractions as Duke would bolt towards other dogs.Duke is a totally different dog now , he is 80% where I want him , continuing to work with Adam on emergency down.Also the Saturday walks and Sunday sessions are great socially for me and Duke.Can't recommend Adam enough.

I got a Border Collie puppy at about 5 months old, who had previously received no real training. Although I spent a lot of time with him, I couldn't get him to engage with me at all, and really didn't know what to do. I booked us in for a few one-to-one sessions with Adam and Joe, and the progress has been absolutely amazing! These guys really REALLY know their stuff - and it's mostly about educating the owner, rather than the dog :)They gave me a few exercises to repeat at home, and lots of helpful tips on ensuring I was giving a consistent message to the dog. The result? After just 3 sessions over 4 weeks my dog now comes when I call him, he sits, lies down, walks to heel, and generally wants to interact with me!I absolutely recommend booking yourself and your dog in for training with these guys - they really care about what they do and will help you build that bond with your dog that every owner wants.
