The Swiss Link

Saw the watch that I had been looking for on line. Contacted Swiss Link and spoke to Dan, one of the owners. Made a sensible offer which was readily accepted. After speaking to Dan about the condition of the watch and it’s provenance I decided to go ahead with purchase. Dan talked me through the payment and delivery procedure. It went exactly as discussed. Paid on Monday morning and my watch arrived at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The packaging was very secure and the delivery was free! The watch came with everything, box, papers and swing tags. The watch itself was better than described(mint), Although the Datejust Turnograph is 18 years old it was as new, with one previous owner who had obviously cherished it. Took it into Goldsmiths in Bristol for bracelet sizing and they were amazed at the watch’s condition and terrific value for money.Thank you again Dan for a faultless buying experience. I would recommend Swiss Link without reservation to any prospective buyer. I will certainly use them again for any further purchases.

TSL (Dan) was very forthcoming with info I requested, very open about the piece which was very refreshing. Accommodated me viewing the watch through Lee, of Watches of the Vale,(another decent & straight up fellow) in Cardiff. Very relaxed about the whole viewing and discussing price - reached agreement very swiftly. The whole transaction was silky smooth with zero hard sell, allowing the buyer to take time to thoroughly inspect the piece and decide to proceed or not.I’d certainly deal with either Dan or Lee again as they made me feel completely at ease and in control of the viewing & transaction.Great service chaps, fair pricing, great condition watch as advertised. After 36 years of wearing my Rolex Datejust every day I felt like a change. I registered for a new Submariner with my local Rolex dealer. A wholly uninspiring experience with years of delay. Searching on line I came across the Swiss Link. I was anxious parting with a large amount of money !! I needn’t have been. Dan was very helpful, arranged for the watch to be shipped to a safe deposit centre where I was met by expert staff. The watch had a full set and whilst 16 years old was as new.
