2016 - I cannot praise these guys enough. They installed a new boiler, replaced all the taps at my old house, fantastic 5 star job, really competitive price, the team worked non stop, always on time, flexible and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble. So when recently moved house and discovered a few jobs that needed a plumber - Plumbways were first on my list - again a 5 star rating - by my count that makes 10 stars this year.2017 - A few things needed sorting , wear and tear etc - who you gonna call .... you guessed it - again fantastic customer service and job well done.

Can not fault their work or after sales sevice.would recommend James and his team.

Used them a lot of times james is great, so helpful, we have been using Plumbways a number of years and can’t recommend them enough, we’ve had replacement boilers, leaks, new toilet fitted etc I have also recommended to family and friends who also use them as well

After being let down by another plumber i rang these guys. I was a bit dubious because I had never dealt with them before but i neednt have worried. From the first phone call i knew they were a sound company.Great communication right up till the appointment, turned up when promised, polite, well mannered and respectful.Did a full gas saftey check, quickly and efficiently. A very professional service not to mention lots of friendly and amusing conversation in between. It really was a pleasure to have them in my home. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Even charged me a tenner less than the firm that didnt show up quoted me.Two smashing gents who deserve a 5 star review. Thanks guys!

Professional, trustworthy, down to earth guys. James and Mick replaced my shower unit. They turn up on time and explain everything in a very straightforward manner. They get on with the job and don’t waste time.

James and his team came to our rescue, when our boiler decided to breakdown in the middle of winter. He and his team were professional, super friendly and got the job done with no hassle. They did a great job replacing the old boiler, and they also upgraded the old thermostat to a Nest, which was a very welcome upgrade (thank you Chad). I will be in touch again for any future plumbing work, definitely highly recommended.

All round brilliant!After 8 months of putting off getting our boiler replaced I decided to bite the bullet and get it done. After seeing the reviews of Checkatrade I got in touch with James @ Plumbways. He came round to take a look the same day (Tuesday). He took a look at the boiler and suggested a few repair options which would have cost me less in the short term but as I suspected wouldn't last forever. He is the opposite of a salesmen, he's a plumber who wants to offer best solution. Anyway, I asked him for some quotes for a new boiler (middle of the range). He did some thinking and gave me a quote there and then. After researching online and getting other quotes I decided to go with James (he wasn't the cheapest quote nor the most expensive just in the middle. I just really felt confident that they'd do a good job and stick to their word.I confirmed the quote with James 2 days later (Thursday) and he said he'll be round Saturday morning at 7.30am to get started (our boiler had pretty much died by this point so I needed it fixed ASAP, winter, pregnant wife etc!)7.30am Saturday morning James and Mick (Son and Father) arrive and just get cracking, no messing round. By 15:00 our old boiler has gone, new boiler in place, all radiators working, no mess at all. Friendly guys, family business doing things properly.I wouldn't normally write reviews but given getting a new boiler is pretty big purchase I hope this encourages someone to relax and put their trust in James, his Dad and Plumbways.Thanks Guys,Kev
