Did a lovely walk up the old quarry trail. Some amazing views so worth the walk. Lovely cafe in the marina for a well earned cuppa.

We have visited from Penarth near Cardiff. We have been made most welcome by attentive and kind staff. We look forward to returning again. Great berth holders party. Thank you so much.

Excellent marina, thier work boat came and towed us in when we lost our engine on approach. The boatyard were really helpful and could sell us all the bits and pieces we needed. Lots of cool walks and exploring to be done nearby too.

Visited Portland marina early July 23 on my yacht Clara for a few days rest en route west. Lovely eco friendly marina and the staff were super helpful.Facilities were excellent and clean.Hayden (spel) was particularly knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips of places to visit on the Island. If planing to sail west worth a trip to the Bill to see the infamous race and plan your passage. Big thank you to the marina staff, will call again for sure. 10/10

Portland is an absolute beauty of a place!! Went for a walk around the marina, then went up to what we thought was a castle but was actually an active prison!! You cant beat the view from up there. Absolutely fantastic place.

Aaaaahhhh, so although this is a Boatfolk managed Marina, Google doesn’t appear to have caught up and my original review popped up somewhere on the Hamble river. Our trip was most definitely to PORTLAND MARINA - please see the review below.A short two night visit in August ‘23. Out past The Needles and along the Jurassic Coast remembering to call to check that the firing ranges were closed. Then into a huge deep water harbour (VHF ch 74 if you want to use the East entrance) and an easy to find entrance into the marina. The Boatfolk Portland Marina team were so very welcoming. Clean and modern facilities and large easy berths to come alongside. No question was too difficult for the guys at the desk and a wealth of local knowledge, both marine and shoreside, was instantly available. To be highly recommended.(Just a last edit - I should point out that although the facilities are indeed top notch they are a quarter of a mile walk from the visitor berths… At least it kept my step numbers up. But there were times when I wished they had been closer).
