Popped in for a trim spontaneously. Not too long of a wait. The cut was very good, they checked in with me throughout to ensure that I was happy with how it was going and making sure they understood what I wanted. Really smart cut with lots of attention to detail and really felt like they gave the haircut a lot of attention. One of the few times I have left a barbers with exactly the style and length that I wanted. Really happy with the end result and they styled it for me before I left and it looked great. Good price and 30% cheaper then my usual barbers for a much better service. Only tiny negative was they were a bit firm with the comb but that wasn't actually a problem. They are not the most chatty people but they do a great haircut. If you don't mind that they don't put on lots of smiles and try to be your best friend its a great place to go for a good cut

Advise each other for the best results and also have a sense of humor. I enter with confidence and leave very happy. They also know how to deal with childeren which is very important.. Top barber! Don't change anything...

Always go here to get my hair cut and always see Leighann. Probably the best barber in Swanage. Always a great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a simple trim or a complete re style. Always with new blades in razors and clean and tidy shop. Fantastic level of understanding what the customer wants. Will definitely continue to go back. And continue to recommend.

If I could give this barbers 0 I honestly would. One geezer in there, completely disinterested in what I had to say, couldn’t hold a conversation, certainly couldn’t cut hair. I left this barber and now have to consider getting another hair cut to correct this abomination of an effort.When using the clippers I thought my skin was going to come off and im pretty sure he snagged my lip more than 8 times whilst attempting to do something that resembles a shave.Save your money and your image - do NOT go here unless you want a below par hair cut and a disinterested stylist who is more interested in flicking through celebrity posts on instagram than cutting any hair.

I have been to this barbers twice now. Both times, there was one barber cutting hair, and another barber sat down on his phone. No one greets you as you walk in, and the barbers use their phones whilst cutting your hair, with very little in the way of conversation. When doing an ear wax, they cover your whole ear without asking if you’d like that. When doing a nose wax, they pull both out at the same time. The first time I had a nose wax there, my moustache hairs were attached and were excruciatingly plucked. Hairspray was used without asking if I’d like it. Will not be going back again.

I’d say my haircut, associated shave and head massage was a spiritual experience. Just incredible attention to detail and both smooth and hypnotic. No dragging or nicks on the shave either. A thoroughly unhurried and personal service that I’d recommend to any males looking for a much needed cut. Best place for a haircut in Purbeck. And no tedious small talk either.

Good haircut, without too much chatter.However, as the shop wasn’t busy I would expect the hair from previous customers to have been swept up before I walked in (there had been plenty of time).But then it’s often left unswept at night time too.Now, with nothing to do with this barber shop....Why did the barber win the race?Because he took a short cut
