I have been training with G2G for more than four years> The encouragement and enthusiasm from the staff really drove me to improve myself. The tailored exercise routines helped build strength and energy but, more importantly, helped relieve back and shoulder pain from previous injuries. I am very happy to recommend the team to those who are serious about training or who are carrying injuries, whether old or recent. The social side of gym membership adds greatly to the experience.

Highly recommend for rehab and recovery from injury. The coaching team really look after you and consider what you need and how to progress. The programming is great and is built on a two-way conversation with feedback and considerations to get you back on track.Generally, the gym environment is friendly and professional. Coaches are always on hand to coach and advise.

When I first approached G2G about coming on board, I was so anxious about chronic pain that it was really impacting my training and my wider wellbeing. Over the past six months of working closely with the team, not only have I overcome that anxiety, but I've hit several PBs - definitely an added bonus I wasn't anticipating!Aidan, Ollie, and the on-the-floor coaches are friendly and inquisitive. It's clear the wealth of knowledge between the team is vast, and they are genuinely passionate about helping people through exercise. I was particularly impressed to see that everyone on the gym floor works to a highly personalised plan, rather than one-size-fits-all workouts.G2G is certainly different from standard gyms (especially the big budget chains!), and if you're willing to be open-minded and commit to investing in yourself then this is a great space to learn, adapt, and grow your physical capabilities. I love what they do at G2G.I was referred to G2G by my physiotherapist, after getting treatment for some nasty low back pain. I’m now back to barbell strength training, pain-free and without fear of re-injury.When I experienced discomfort, the coaches helped me work around it, allowing me to continue to train and make progress, while adapting my program to address the issue.Without the help of the G2G coaches I wouldn’t have been able to make the same progress and I would be a lot more fearful of movements that strongly involve my back. But with their help I’ve now set myself the goal of entering my first powerlifting event in my mid-forties.Very strongly recommended.

Makes every other gym I've been to seem a bit rubbish. They've got all the heavy stuff for you to lift up, but they also deliver really good training programs, coaching and accountability. They'll make you feel like a superhero and for that the price is a bargain. Plus I haven't found any radioactive spiders in Edinburgh.
