Ivy Tile
Leakage from our first floor ensuite damaged both bathroom floorboard and our ground floor living room laminates. In a rush to fix our large living room, we went to some tile shops as we decided to replace our living room floor with under floor heating and porcelain tiles. As I quickly read and concluded what we needed for the underfloor heating, my wife could not decide which tiles we should go. We found 2-3 tiles which she liked and with a very tempting discount. But we could not fall in love with the tiles we liked. Then when I called a friend to check whether he can recommend a builder and a plumber as he renovated his house recently, our conversion moved to tiles and he strongly recommended Ivy tiles as he himself bought from them. I called Ivy tiles and arranged an appointment in their showroom. They asked me to take some photos from the room as well prior to our meeting.I also had two samples of tiles from the shop we were keen to buy. When I showed the photos, the owner, who is an architect as well, recommended very interesting options and my wife immediately decided what she wanted. I brought the tile samples we had in mind from the back of my car to compare with the tile from Ivy tiles and it was clear what Ivy tiles were recommending were more suitable to our large room with natural stone fireplace. Ivy tiles checked technical details of tiles from the other shop and confirmed that the quality was excellent and the price was indeed very good. The owner gave us a sample tile to take home and put the two samples from the other shop together with the one we liked from his shop in our living room so we can have a better idea of what we want. This was an excellent recommendation and it helped us to visualise the final finish. We eventually ordered 30m2 from Ivy tiles for our living room. They arranged the delivery of tiles well and even during the installation, we had video calls so they advised me on the direction of the tiles arrangement and also how to check the smoothness of the laid tiles.I am currently renovating our ensuite. I sent our 3D measurement of our ensuite and they rendered the ensuite with the tiles they were recommending and my wife instantly liked the design and I recently purchased large slabs (24m2) of porcelain and was very excited to see the final look and may share photos here. I also bought tiles for our other bathroom floor (6m2), even without going to the Ivy showroom to see the tiles, just shared photos and also some examples which my wife likes and as the owner is a highly educated architect , he recommended  the tiles which we ordered.I also needed split natural stone (8m2) for internal cladding of our fireplace, but could not find many attractive choices in local shops and Ivy tiles does not this sort of products, I was reluctant to by from web, as a friend of mine told, that as the natural stones may have large variation in colour with the one we see on the photos and also often the tiles are broken in the box. So I ended up getting help from Ivy tiles. I shared some split natural stone photos from the web with Ivy and they managed to get it from one of their collaborating companies. To conclude, I have had very pleasant experience with Ivy Tiles as their tiles have good quality, the price is very attractive. And above all, access to the owner who is an experienced architect and also excellent customer service they provide made Ivy tiles for me the first choice in getting tiles.Based on my recommendations, a family member also purchased all her tiles (+100m2) from Ivy.
