Greg and his team were fantastic in helping us through a very difficult time of the passing of my mum.Our mum passed away at home and Greg came out to us on a Sunday afternoon with compassion and care. It’s very difficult to say goodbye to a loved one, but Greg reassured us that they would look after mum - and they did. Each time we visited the funeral home either to make the arrangements or to visit mum in the chapel of rest they were professional and friendly and always put us at ease. The kindness they showed us as a family was very comforting and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.We had asked for anyone attending the funeral to wear a touch of pink, and Greg and his team wore pink ties and handkerchiefs which was such a lovely touch and showed great attention to detail which was hugely appreciated.Thank you Greg for helping make a difficult time that little bit easier.

Thank you to Greg and his wonderful team for arranging the funeral for my late mother. They made it as stress free as possible and treated her with the dignity and respect she deserved. The communication was first class, keeping us updated at all times. On the day, everything ran to perfection with nothing for us to worry about. They made everything easy, from organising the service to arranging flowers, cars and the burial. Greg went above and beyond. A truly professional service that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Greg, Diane, Tracey and the team are absolutely phenomenal! We had some very unusual requests for my husband’s service, and nothing was too much trouble. Greg spent time getting to know us and was able to make suggestions we hadn’t thought of. Their attention to detail meant we as a family didn’t need to worry about anything. We have received lots of compliments from extended family and friends who all said the service was an accurate reflection of my husband, and the life he lived, which is all thanks to Greg and the team!

From the first meet with Greg, my family and I felt at ease. The team ensured the whole process of arranging my Mums funeral was stress free, and they took care of everything with great communication throughout. Greg connected us with a wonderful celebrant Alison after hearing a little about my mums life and personality, Alison was perfect, and there were many more personal touches from the team that we will be forever thankful for. I can’t recommend the service & care provided by Greg Hodgkinson & his team enough for the lovely service they all provided looking after Mum, as soon as Greg walked through the door on the evening of mum’s passing, his natural kind nature reassured me that he was going to take control of the situation and guide us through the next steps. The hurt you feel at that moment of losing a loved one is immense & to have someone like Greg and his lovely colleague being there at that crucial time with soft words of reassurance makes such a difference.Mum’s funeral was just what we had hoped for, the way the team members from Greg Hodgkinson Funeral Directors conducted themselves was wonderful & they all look so very smart and were very supportive throughout the whole process.
