The Cake Room
We end up here most Saturdays and the quality of the cakes and patisserie is fabulous. The sliced cakes are amazing and the dipped chocolate Viennese swirl biscuits are just amazing. Nowhere in the East Riding is as good consistently as The Cake Room in Hessle. Plus, the staff are all a lovely bunch and they can’t do enough to help you. 5 stars from me!

The cake room Hessle:R:E My daughters wedding cake when arrived I was gutted it was very amateur and uneven nothing like my daughter asked for. The fondent covering the cake showed through they had the order around 2 years and it looked very unprofessional on the day. It was over priced for what it was I'm not talking a few pounds I'm in the £100.s the stuff in the shop may bring you in but I wouldn't recommend any special occasion cake from the. No detail as requested and looked knocked up in no time sorry to say they want your money before you see the finished product. They say they can but they can't waisted my money never again BIG NO NO

absolutely amazing cakes and amazing workers! I can not thank them enough!we had a very specific cake we wanted for our sons first birthday and I was astounded at how accurate they made the cake!to add even more praise to this amazing work force, when I came home with the cake, I was sobbing when 3 heads fell off. I rang the shop asking how I could fix this, but they went one step further, they picked the cake up at my door step and then delivered it back to me, again to my door step, all fixed and looking absolutely amazing

Emailed in the morning and now just followed up with a call to pay and confirm collection for a very basic ‘happy birthday’ cake, only to be told that I’ve not given them enough time, even though I’m collecting tomorrow afternoon. How long does it take to put a couple of words on a cake. Will go elsewhere.

Highly recommend! Used twice recently for my mums birthday cake and then my sons birthday cake. Both cakes really lovely and very well presented. Would definitely use again.
