Been to a few events at Oscar’s including one of their 80’s nights and couldn’t recommend it more! Lovely, staff, stunning decor, reasonably priced drinks and just a great time overall! Especially love the extra touch of the spare bobbles, hairspray etc in the women’s toilets. Can’t wait for my next night out in Oscars:)

Wow ! What a venue, well maintained, classy, friendly staff, reasonable bar prices and a fantastic sound and light show. Hats off to Ian and his team for looking after us throughout the evening.Highly recommended if you want something with the wow factor !

Had our wedding here, Ian & team were amazing start to finish. Communication was great, Venue itself is so stunning and modern. We will definitely use the venue again and couldn't reccomend enough!

We had the pleasure of using this venue for my baby shower on 9th September 2023. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the owner Ian and his staff for such a lovely time, they were so friendly and welcoming. From the moment of booking, Ian was always so helpful and so quick in replying to any questions we needed to ask. On the day of the party, Ian and his staff ensured everything went to plan and were so lovely to all guests. The venue is decorated so beautifully and we would definitely use Oscars again for any future parties. We emailed Ian regarding the deposit with our bank details and this was paid back the next day which we were thankful of. Thank you again for everything x

Fantastic venue and staff! We had our wedding party here in September and Ian could not have been more accommodating. We extended the booking 2am, had the Mr & MRs sign on the dance floor, the forrero rocher love heart and hired a live singer. The resident DJ was really good too and happy to take everyones requests. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Had a Christening party here and to be honest felt very let down. I chose Oscars as we had my Son's christening party here back in 2019 when it was Valentino's and it was fantastic. From the decorations to the buffet couldn't fault it at all.I was met at the door and told I had to have my bag searched. This was my child's nappy bag and what was I going to bring exactly to a christning?? I paid near 600 For table centre peices a sweet cart and donut wall. ( Asda £3.50 donut tray by the looks) The centre peices were supposed to be vases with twinkle lights and flowers ( paid an extra £10 per table for flowers ontop of price) Only to be met with what I can only describe as milk bottles with a few lights in and a very small bunch of flowers. I could of made this myself and bought the £2.50 bunches of flowers from home and bargains, because that's what they looked like.Then the buffet, £1095 paid for a Costco buffet. All the wraps and sandwiches were Costco. The chicken goujons were small peices of burnt chicken. The hot curry was disgusting, tasted like microwave curry. Anyone who tried it said they didn't like it. That was a waste as there was loads left. With the tray of microwave rice. I could of done all this myself but you trust the venue. After my Son's there I thought it worth paying all that money as it was a fabulous day. So we really felt let down by Oscars and for the price they charge and what you get. just not worth it. The only thing that managed to save the day was the children's Entertainer Papa Magic, he was excellent and really put on a good show for the kids. Couldn't fault him at all. Also the DJ was great and a friendly guy also.When you book with Oscars they send you a price breakdown of everything, including details of a refundable £100 deposit. Which says is for a cleaning bond/ minimum bar spend/ damage.Now there was no reason why we shouldn't have it returned. It has taken us over a week to be able to get intouch with someone to have it returned. ( you think they would contact you first)Only to be told we didn't spend £750 behind the bar so we don't get it back. Well not once was this explained to us in the initial booking or the price breakdown. To be fair we were probably close to that mark. But who spends that much behind a bar at a Christening anyway? it's Not a 21st with loads of people wanting to get drunk is it.The owner did let us change the dateIf the party and give us more time to pay off as my father in law passed suddenly and we had to take time off work.Other then that I think they are not worth the over £2500 we paid for the day. felt totally let down and really not suprised they have suddenly came up with the £750 bar bill before gettong your £100 refundable deposit back.Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Fantastic venue, staff, prices and decoration. Had our wedding party here on Friday night and it couldn’t have gone any better. Loads of helpful bar staff, buffet food provided was 5 star and the venue dressed amazing. Thankyou
