Went to see my nephew graduate. Nice comfy bar , very cheap drinks. Clean toilets.

Very welcoming. Great reception received from there.

A friendly warm place where you can chill

Pretty much everything you want in an SU. Comfortable seating, reasonable prices, TVs and a couple of bar games. The staff are very friendly and a good chat. Reasonable beverage selection. Maybe don't try for too complicated a cocktail though, you might be disappointed.

Gone downhill drastically since my first year since the change of hands and it shows. Considerably less students using bar especially on a friday, the day they advertise the most for students. Music is constantly repetitive every week and seems to be only catered for the manager as she actively advertises the music that plays on repeat on her social media. Think it was time the SU was revert back for students and allows the students to have a say on how it's ran. Unprofessional behaviour from the manager as she constantly bounces around the place filming students having their drinks like some sort of strange big brother as she/they completely misses the dead space around the bar as the lack of customers show even more in my 2nd year and far from my and others experience from first year. If I could give 0 stars I would and it would go into the minus.

We were lodged in Hallyday first. And the accommodation wasn't appealing at all. Small rooms, dark cofridor, steep spiral stairs, small washbasins, temporary water even in the shower, no mixzr, no room in the kitchen for the kids to gather, narrow shower. We have moved into Fishee. Nice, comfortable bedroims and shower. Even smaller washbasin.. No common room for the kids to share, but secure place, near to swimming pool and laundry, and canteen, and Library/cinema. Not far from carpark and sports center and lessons. Grosvenor though is the best accommodation here. Seems like a 4 stars hotel. We were not so lucky to ne put in there with the rest of the students of othee Italian groups. Pity.
