I am so surprised Sovereign has employed a new receptionist who constantly switches between flapping and making you feel like your interrupting her to using jobs worth lines such as “I don’t make the rules” you are meant to be here to help people, that’s what your paid for. Why are you still only offering over the phone appointments and if you dare to miss a call that’s it! People work, and all sorts of other issues, the majority of people can not hold onto their phone all day with no indication “allowed” of when a doctor will call. You can’t get through on the phone in the morning and by the time you do all appointments are booked. Again not everyone can come and queue up at 8am to book an appointment. You are discriminating against less capable and able people!Seeing a more senior man queue up, get to the desk only to be told “no f2f appointments and so he left it, this new receptionist just smiled sarcastically and said “ I don’t make the rules” what have you done taking this type of person on? Is it deliberate? The other receptionists are all very good. We are no longer in a pandemic. Serve the patients and do right by them!

I have lived in the area for almost 10 years. Used to be proud and like the GP but indeed things have changed over the last few months. One of the receptionists not very helpful, rubbish attitude and zero empathy. Common use of language, I don't know"

The team at Sovereign Medical Centre are truly amazing. Special thanks to Wendy who has been helping me above and beyond her job role for several months. Wendy could have said the situation was out of her control, but she treated me with respect and understood the urgency and has been chasing referrals at other departments. On two occasions now she has helped me get results that I was not able to achieve myself and I am truly grateful.Wonderful doctors and friendly staff. Thank you.

I have always found staff at Sovereign to be most patient and helpful, from the receptionists, nurses, Paramedic and the GPS, all very kind. Thank you so much.

I joined this surgery based on their reviews. It was good, but not now. The only way you can get appointment at this surgery is to be there physically at 8am. This morning had an appointment with a nurse at 10:20am, got there at 10:00am and was told the nurse phoned in sick. They had enough time to inform me, but they did not. Please improve your services. Thanks

I’ve been a patient here for over 30 years, they are very busy but they always do their best and I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else.

DO NOT JOIN THIS SURGERY - Terrible surgery, can’t seem to get through to them at 8am for an appointment. Call at any other time they have no appointments and request you to call at 8am. Not to mention the abrupt and rude reception staff.

I used to love this surgery, it's now a total shower. Your job is to see patiences not just call them back, how the how can you diagnose eye infections over the phone, three weeks, three calls, three prescriptions, no change. Enough, you have destroyed what was a great service.
