Cuddly Bear Day Care Nursery- Sydenham Hill

We are extremely happy with Cuddly Bear for our son. He has been there full time for just over a year and settled in quickly. From the start, he has been happy at nursery and talks about it with enthusiasm. The staff are caring and professional and we have always found them very supportive. Despite all the Covid restrictions, the nursery is a fun and safe place to be and our son has learnt a great deal during his time there.

Words cannot begin to express the gratitude and appreciation that I feel towards the staff at Cuddly Bear DayCare nursery.My daughter attended for over 2 years and there was not a day where I did not have complete confidence in the kindness and attention the team would have for her. My child has autism and developmental delay, and the team would always devote extra time and support to help with her progression – they were instrumental in giving her the best start we could hope for.Development reviews regularly took place, and a key worker was assigned to give her extra supervision. The staff further put in place various aides to help with improving her communication and growth. There is an app which allows you to login and see, through pictures and staff entries, your child in their various activities throughout the day, which is such a fantastic addition. It also updates with what your child has eaten - the food was always healthy and varied, my daughter ate very well!I could feel the love and protection they felt for her and could see the genuine joy in the staff when they would welcome her in the morning. My daughter was always happy to run into nursery and would hug the team member at the door.We are excited for the future but very sad that her time in this lovely environment has come to an end.

Our daughter started at the Sydenham Hill nursery earlier this year and we have been very happy with the service. The staff are very approachable and caring and we appreciate the information that they provide at the end of each day (eg. about food eaten, meals, etc). The nursery is well organised, and this helps give us confidence that she is being looked-after in safe environment.

We have found cuddybears superb,the tream at this nursery are excellent. They treated my daughter with such care, and kindness that has resulted in my daughter flourishing. I always felt assured that my daughter was in good hands when I dropped her off to nursery.The team are such lovely individuals who are always helpful, professional.I would highly recommend cuddybears.

Our 9 month old daughter goes to cuddly bear and she absolutely loves it. The staff are very professional- they did a special weaning menu for my daughter as she started when she was 6 months. This really helped to develop her tastes to different foods.They did a great job at protecting children during the rise of covid infections and have a very strict covid policy. The garden space is beautiful and although it may look rather small from the outside, the space inside is vast.I love the food menu - so much variety that its almost impossible to give your child all that nutrition from home.What I found great was that, my child is always seeing familiar faces and generally tends to have the same child minder.Overall, great place - its 2 doors from us so super convenient. The Sydenham hill branch is in a residential area so its in a quiet surrounding.

Very happy with Cuddly Bear Nursery, child-centred, professional, friendly. Staff is very caring. They did a great job helping my son settling back in after lockdown and he loves going to nursery. Highly recommended.

Cuddly Bear Day Care became a hugely significant part of our family life while our daughter was there. The staff cared for and supported her as she grew from a 1 year old baby into a confident and kind 4 year old ready for school. The outdoor space at Sydenham Hill is amazing and means the kids are out everyday in the fresh air. We’ve loved Cuddly Bears and would recommend them to any parent or carer.

We have had an amazing experience with Cuddly Bears, over nearly 4 years and two children, our eldest is about to leave and our youngest has been there for a year.It has been a really supportive and caring environment, the children have made genuine connections with the staff who care deeply about the wellbeing of all the kids.If you are look for a nursery who treat each child as an individual with individual needs, look no further.

We can’t speak highly enough about Cuddly Bears. It’s feels like a real family - our youngest daughter recently left after 2 years there to start school, and we were all (parents and staff) in tears saying goodbye! The facilities are great, the management is brilliant (especially throughout Covid) and the staff are just fantastic. Our little girl really thrived there and we know she’s really well prepared for school as a result. Thank you, CB!

Not very diverse there’s absolutely little to none black children who attend the nursery that speaks volumes especially when it’s situated within a very multicultural area
