Absolute gem of a small Devon pub. Lovely little chocolate box pub offering drinks, great food and a friendly atmosphere.Dog friendly.Check times as it's not always open late and food isn't served all day everyday. A

We’re told about a special 30oz ribeye steak special, we were a group so ordered 2. Never told nor expected they were £150 each but best bit was all side dishes were charged on top. Definitely won’t be back….that’s taking the mickey …..

Beautiful food, pub and service. Absolutely faultless, the village is stunning, the staff incredibly friendly and genuinely funny and upbeat, the food is generous as well as being top class and the look of the pub and restaurant has been given a lot of thought and care and it makes for a fabulous atmosphere and experience

Wow just what was required to Kickstart our weekend away (and to very quickly forget the 6hr trip to get there).Staff are incredibly friendly/accommodating/knowledgeable about the food and drinks, nothing phased or was to much trouble.Chef is inventive and certainly knows what works well together, this coupled with amazing local produce is a very heavy mix.A must if in the area for foodies

Beautiful old stone pub set in a jewel of a country location. Down to earth in every aspect but with very high quality ingredients. This for us was like the best gastro pub you wish you had down the road. Their own local meat, brilliant wines and delicious beer. Thank you to Omar for looking after us, we will be back.

Very much updated from my last visit 10+ years ago, but still keeps it’s charm in one of the most picturesque villages in Devon! They may no longer serve scampi fries but the lovely little terrace on the brook at the back remains. A must on any visit to Salcombe/Kingsbridge area!
