Biltong Emporium

Completely devoid of any traditional Biltong flavour, more additives than required. I have tried all online Biltong providers and this is by far the worst. I cannot understand how this claims to have a 2023 taste award when it is absolutely horrid. This is now being used as dog treats, so not to waste. The Droewors is total rubbish also being used as dog food. People that replicate this need to know what Biltong actually tastes like in order to replicate. While it may look ok, the flavour is way way way off AVOID!

Really Lovely staff, Easy to get to, Good parking, Huge choice and ample help for beginners not sure what they want, or anyone wanting to try something different, Sweet treats and drinks as well. I have a coupon card that I'm half way through filling up. Always feel welcome and at a very good price. Much better than most other jerky you can get in the UK

I have been a fan of Biltong for a long time, its a great snack especially after training. My sister found these guys and brought me some, and it was by far the best biltong I have ever had. The selection choice is superb and it tastes fantastic. I have never had better service, selection or flavor. Thanks Guys.

The best biltong for miles. Had some at borough market last week and it wasnt a patch on this place. Drove 40 mins to return here. Not surprised the shop is always busy. Chilli chutney wet is superb.

Great service. Lots and lots of flavours. They do a tasting night where you can try new flavours.

After ordering I did realise there was alot of additives and sent a immediate request to cancel which was ignored unfortunately.The biltong tasted very nice in the end ,But encorperates MSGs which are not good for you , Hydrogenated Fats which are terrible for the body to process and various e numbers.Biltong is often sought after by fitness and health people and should try carefully to maintain a balance where health is concerned.Not just man-made preservates and flavour enhancers along with Hydrogenated fats ..may require a second thought if purchasing regularly and in quantities, which I do .Very tasty biltong and if your not concerned to much about added Fats and additives then go for your life I would say .

So in my quest for a genuinely hot chilli bite I bought their volcano bites. Oh. My. Word. These are HOT. Two glasses of milk and a beer and my mouth is still burning after having two bites, and I am normally good with chilli. Be warned, not for the faint hearted!

The Best Biltong I have ever had and by far the best in the area.Wide variety of flavors of Biltong and other South African confectionaries. We visit regularly and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
