This academy is absolutely outstanding the support ruth and her team put in to ensure all the students are catered for my daughter as come on leaps and bounds since starting here 3 years ago,ruth goes above and beyond when it comes to the support and care of her students as do her team ,i cant thank this accadamey enough ,please do try you will not be disappointed

After just one term, my daughter has taken part in a professional, innovative show, covering acting, singing & dancing. She loves Carney & has made a new group of fun friends who are equally motivated.

I started at Carney just 6 months ago. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s been amazing . I have learnt so much in a short space of time .I was very nervous at my first session. I was immediately put at my ease and the teaching is really such high quality . Everyone is developed and really nurtured in such a positive atmosphere. I gained more confidence and even started to get cast in film and stage roles . I’ve now just been accepted at Rose Bruford in London to study for an acting diploma . What’s even more amazing is I’m 60 years of age . I certainly wouldn’t be in this position without Carney Academy . I can’t thank them enough

Just wanted to update my review from last year - I am so glad that I made the decision to enrol my daughter at Carney Academy. I have seen her confidence blossom since her first lesson and every year the end of year show at the Lantern Theatre blows me away with the level of talent on offer. The teachers are wonderful and it’s just a fabulous experience for all involved. Thank you!

Our daughter, aged 6, joined Carney Sheffield in 2018 because as advertised she loves to sing, act and dance. The environment is professional and nurturing with dedicated teachers who instantly made, and continue to make, my daughter feel part of the team. We were blown away with last year’s summer school performance of Annie, seeing all ages work together and encourage each other in a theatre environment further added to our confidence in Carney. This year we’ve been able to not only see first hand the skills our daughter has developed in the yearly festival, but witness the importance of friendships that Carney encourage and individuality of each person attending.
