State Bank Of India UK (SBI UK)

My husband and I recently went to the SBI Leicester branch to open up an account. Jilna Parmar assisted us with this process. She was incredibly helpful and efficient. She helped us to set up the app and online banking. At no point did she make us feel inadequate.The customer service she provided was second to none. Jilna is truly an asset to the branch.

I contacted SBI UK at Leicester, after trying to open an account with SBI Manchester (who weren't very forthcoming; I will leave it at that). I went to the Leicester branch, despite being further away for me. I would like to appreciate their banker, Mr Rakesh Parekh, who helped me with opening a business account. He's a very pleasant and courteous gentleman. Overall a very pleasant experience coupled with efficiency. The only thing I would like to request SBI UK is to improve their online banking interface to make it more user friendly.

I never give 5 stars to companies unless they have really gone above and beyond to help me or provide me with an excellent service.This 5 star rating I've given because I've had not one but several positive interactions. Jilna, SBI Leicesters employee is an absolute gem of a person and has always made my experience very positive to a point that even I have opened an account with them.Since the time I've been in contact with Jilna, she and her team have given me and my family members the best service. I've not had to worry about being passed from pillar to post... unlike other banks SBI Leicester employees treat each of their customers as a person and not just as a number. Thank you for making my experience a positive one and keep up the great work.

I had to share this todayI have been having problems for over a week using the Yono app and accessing my account. I picked up the phone with much reluctance thinking I will not get any help from the Leicester branch of SBI but I was completely wrong. Chloe the young lady that took my call was very patient understanding my problem and had all the time for me while I gave her the full details of the error codes / messages that came up upon wanting to access my accountShe assured me that she will escalate the issues to the department in concern and will get back to me each day till it gets resolved4 hours down the line she rang me to confirm that everything is now sorted and will wait for me on the phone while I try logging in again. Thankfully everything is working fine nowThank you chloe for sorting this out so quickly and also for your politeness over the telephone, 5 stars for the branch and chloe from me

I received a fabulous first class service from SBI UK Leicester branch. My assigned Personal banker Rakesh Parekh is extremely professional and the most helpful and polite person. Our issue was complex, however Rakesh made us feel at ease and sorted all issues out. A very friendly and professional person.

I would strongly advice opening an account if are planning to go india, was safe and easy using card to draw money. The service we received from Jilna was absolutely fantastic.
