Fantastic book shop! Creatively laid out space suitable for children and adults. Beautiful selection of books - we emailed Xander to order a couple in and picked up a few more in person. Couldn’t ask for a more helpful person both when it came to ordering and suggesting other books. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Gorgeous bookshop/event space!I've been twice in a week whilst visiting my sister who lives locally, as we loved it so much!Caper sells a lovely range of children's books as well as cards, gifts/toys and a smaller but thoughtfully chosen selection of books for adults (e.g. cookery books).The shop is appealingly designed with comfortable spaces for visitors to sit down and look at books together.The owner is very friendly and clearly has a great vision for the space at the back (accessed through a Narnia wardrobe!), which is being developed to hold classes and other events.I wish I lived more locally so that I could take my own small children here. It's a neighbourhood gem and deserves to do really well!
