Had my 2008 VW Transporter T5 gearbox rebuilt by these guys a couple of months ago, along with a new clutch, flywheel, and O/S driveshaft. Their initial help in diagnosing the problem was amazing, really friendly and helpful. They booked me in for a couple of weeks later, and let me leave my van with them for a few days prior as I couldn't get to them on the day. They managed to rebuild the gearbox and replace the other parts a day sooner than the originally quoted too. The price was really good, no it wasn't cheap, but I wasn't expecting it to be given what was being done, but it was absolutely good value for money. Excellent service. I've recommended them to several people already. Van is like brand new, runs really well, and have had no problems since. It coped really well with a week driving all over a wet and windy Wales! 5 stars all the way.

Last Transmissions repaired our T4 Cree gear box ....it had been a mess! The work was done professionally and carefully. Then when a secondary fault developed, they were diligent enough to check their own work and assure us that the issue was unrelated. They fixed it for us nonetheless....and saved our holiday! We have no hesitation in recommending them. Professional and all round good guys. Q

Left my T6 van for VW warranty gearbox repair/work...could not of been more helpful. Communication whilst the van was there was excellent and exceeded my expectations with the timescale on their part, although they were delayed, through no fault of their own, with the new gearbox parts arriving.Craigs attitude and knowledge of this gearbox gave me full confidence in their ability to resolve the issues. The van feels like a different vehicle to drive through the gears so many thanks. No hesitation in recommending.

Great team done a great job on my gearbox not cheap but then again I got a great service from them so you expect to pay a bit more for top work.. definitely recommend.

Very good garage, capable and friendly.

Absolutely fabulous and friendly service. Some time after my differential was expertly rebuilt by Craig Last, a problem (nothing to do with the work Last Transmissions did) became apparent with the diff/propshaft flange on this spare diff whilst my local garage were putting it in the car. By now the car was stuck on the garage's ramp but Craig managed to swap the flange over and reset the collapsible washer at an hour's notice despite being absolutely snowed under with work. Superb service, very highly recommended.
