We worked with Kieran on the reinstatement of our property following flooding. He is an expert in his field and provided a highly detailed survey and advice that formed the blueprint for all of the work that followed. From that moment forward the whole process became real. He was meticulous in his detail and his approach. Always available for questions and to clarify points we did not understand.A first class experience from a first class company.Without this effort we would be floundering.

Bedfords Chartered Building Surveyors oversaw the renovation of my nephew's house in Macclesfield with superb efficiency and professional integrity. Whilst we only met their representatives at the handover of the property it was clear to us throughout the whole process that they were overseeing and supporting the other contractors who were actually carrying out the work. This attention to detail was evident right through to the end when an snagging issue was found at the property. As throughout the whole of the renovation, we were updated frequently of what had caused the problem and how it was to be resolved. The signing off of this end process was very recently and the photographs they sent us made visible the quality of the resolution of the problem. We would highly recommend this company to others seeking a quality outfit in this area of expertise.

Bedfords showed great professionalism and competance in dealing with the Loss Assessors , Insurance representatives and building contractors.I felt that they were always looking after my interests, and dealt very well with the numerous challenges from the other parties.

Paul and his team at Preston branch were appointed by our insurers to oversee strip out and reinstatement work at our home following a flood. The work involved strip out of all walls, kitchen, flooring and tanking (the flood being in our basement area) and full reinstatement of same. Following his appointment Paul kept us up to speed with all aspects of the work including site visits, liaising with contractors, preparing schedules of work etc. I personally feel Paul went the extra mile for us and am most grateful for his help, professionalism and all round assistance in what was a stressful time. Paul was always available by phone, text or email. Many thanks for all you did for us.

Fantastic surveyors. We can't thank them enough. We appointed Bedfords after a property flood so assist with out insurance claim. After having some concerns with our insurer we decided to appoint our own independent surveyors. Paul and Karen were outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional. In July last year my wife and I experienced a house fire which all but destroyed our kitchen and soot damaged the remaining rooms in the house.We were advised to get an independent loss assessor which we did, as we were advised that insurance companies have a tendency to penny pinch and waste pounds, which ours certainly did.The independent loss adjuster fought our corner over things like our contents claim and thankfully introduced us to Bedfords Charted Building Surveyors and in particular Bob Burley their surveyor who managed our home reinstatement.We were so grateful to have Bob who fought and pushed the insurance company, their appallingly cheap contractor and their appalling sub contractors every inch of the way to ensure we ended up with an acceptable outcome with the reinstatement of our home. If it hadn't been for Bob and his tenacity we would probably still be out of our home 13 months on . In December last year, my partner and I experienced a devastating house fire in our new build home which we had only been in for a short 10 months. Bedfords Chartered Building Surveyors have been highly professional throughout the rebuild process. Their communication and commitment to ensuring that our house was put back to it's pre-fire damage condition has been brilliant.Paul has been extremely thorough and reassuring throughout what has been a very difficult time. His fine attention to detail, knowledge and personable approach has also been remarkable. Paul took on board and dealt with any concerns we had raised throughout the process. We were introduced to Bedfords In November 2019 following a fire at our four year old home.We were obviously devastated at the loss of our home and not having had any dealings with insurance before we felt completely shattered and alien about the whole experience - then Paul Parkinson appeared. He was professional yet friendly and offered us massive support and guidance for the eleven months before a settlement was agreed with the insurance company. The fact it was such an enormous job and in Feb 2020 covid hit the Uk made the whole experience much more protracted and drawn out but we always felt Paul was supportive and focused with the incredible amount of detail he applied to the rebuild schedule. He was able to attend site and meetings when requested to progress the reinstatement as soon as was able. He demonstrated a real understanding of the job and showed a lot of empathy towards us particularly as we had built the original house ourselves so knew the actual building inside and out - literally! We would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Bedfords and particularly Paul.

Extremely efficient and courteous . Bedfords kept in touch throughout the whole process with clear and detailed feedback verbally in person followed by a written report. Paul was very thorough and professional. He met me at the property on several occasions and spent a good deal of time going through everything that he was going to put into the final report so that I could fully understand.
