Really interesting local museum, definitely worth a look if you're visiting! Great displays on the history of the town. The exhibit on Kington Camp was especially enlightening! The volunteers/staff (?) were so friendly and informative!

What a wonderful experience, just by chance the lady opened it and let us walk round as it's shut mondays. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly such a brilliant start to our holiday, it's free to visit but remember to donate what you can. Thank you so much.

Kington Museum
Very local history site with model of original railway yards, sadly long gone in the town itself. The real history of note is the Offa's Dyke path and the later Welsh Prince's efforts in the 14th. Century. Plenty of good walking country.
