We received an appalling customer care from PMC in particular Paul H and David H! The only thing Paul did a good job with was marketing and promising to inspect all that we requested. The survey carried out by one of their surveyors (Adrian) had material omissions. Despite several emails and calls to Paul and David, none of them addressed our concerns let alone refund the cost of survey or compensate the loss we suffered as a result of their negligence. On the contrary, Paul suggested we commission further services to understand the impact of their omissions! To list a few issues, the survey missed the fact that the chimney breast was removed and that it had no support (the cost of surveys, plans and supporting it runs into 1000s!) and the surveyor confused the load bearing walls hence he did not alert us on the need to investigate the support. The written report was delivered with a huge delay which put a pressure on us but more importantly it had discrepancies with what we were told on the phone (like the fact that the surveyor did not even accessed the loft which he said he did)! I complained after we discovered that the house we bought had no chimney support and in response they said that they can inspect how serious that is for additional fee! Avoid at all cost! David who is responsible to resolving complains did not even bother responding!
