Robert's Fine Jewellery

A big thank you to Robert from Robert’s Fine Jewellery based on the Upper Level of the Belfry Shopping Centre. I needed my watch battery replaced only to discover the back had been cross threaded when it was previously replaced by a jewellers in Kingston Upon Thames. Robert was excellent in making sure the job got done, and sent it to a watch repairer. This only took a couple of days and Robert also steam cleaned and buffed out the scratches on the strap. I can honestly say the watch hasn’t looked so good in years and everything cost only £15 so can’t recommend this jewellers highly enough.

I visited Robert's Fine Jewellery this Tuesday to address an issue with my wife's engagement ring. The diamond inside the setting was loose and spinning, causing concern that it might fall out. Even though I hadn't purchased the ring from their store, Robert and his staff were incredibly accommodating. They provided valuable advice on how to prevent the diamond from loosening in the future (a probable occurrence). I readily accepted their expertise and left the ring in their capable hands.I enquired if the ring could be ready by the end of the week as my wife and I were planning a long weekend getaway. They assured me it would be ready by Friday morning for pickup. To my delight, they called me the very next day to inform me that the ring was ready. When I picked it up today, I found that they had not only fixed the setting to secure the diamond but also added a subtle extra touch to keep it intact. They gave the ring a beautiful steam and polish, restoring its shine to its original state when I first bought it eight years ago. To top it off, they kindly provided the same treatment to my own ring at no extra charge.I was extremely pleased with the service at Robert's Fine Jewellery. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend them.Thank you, Robert, and the entire team for this exceptional experience. I will certainly return to have my wedding ring properly serviced in the future!

I cannot recommend Robert and his staff enough. I came in with some sentimental jewellery, and Robert was very helpful brainstorming ideas for re-molding. I was kept updated on the process throughout.The three crafted stacking rings and pendant was more than I could imagine, and I am so pleased with the results. I will definitely be back!

My Granddad's watch which is 70 to 80 years old, and hasn't worked for 10s of years since it was overwound. It had been back to Omega and they couldn't fix it.Roberts have repaired two of my watches so took in Grandads watch and to my absolute delight they got this watch working.Thank you so much. I’m usually terrible at actually getting round to writing reviews but there’s no way I couldn’t make the effort for Robert and his team after the service I’ve experienced there recently.My fairly intricate engagement ring broke several years ago and I lost a diamond. After an initial consultation with Robert it became apparent that this wasn’t going to be a quick fix (a previous botched repair from elsewhere complicated things somewhat). Eventually I was able to go through my insurance and they offered my the chance to get it repaired locally rather than through their specialist. I’m so pleased I opted to go locally and through Robert.From start to finish I’ve been consulted and considered. Every detail has been run past me and they rebuilt the ring around my wedding band and eternity ring which wouldn’t have happened through my insurer. They’ve sent me emails with progress pictures, they’ve invited me in to the store to discuss possibilities (welcoming my children with the odd chocolate along the way) and created the most beautiful ring. It looks exactly the same, albeit it is now a far superior ring, more robust and less susceptible to catching and breaking.I picked up the finished ring last weekend and the welcome I had was just incredible. I was able to collect it when the jeweller who had made it (sorry I can’t remember your name!) was there and seeing him so pleased with my reaction was just the best. Then to top it off they presented me with the most beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank me for my custom! I was in danger of becoming a sobbing mess in the middle of the shop by that point so I made a quick exit but I was so touched by the care, kindness, pride and professionalism.I’ve had a more simple repair to another ring carried out there too and the service was just as lovely and welcoming then too.So, to anyone looking for any guidance with jewellery I can’t recommend this team highly enough.

I visited Robert's shop 2 weeks ago with 2 vintage rings of great sentimental value to me. One was my grandmother's antique dress ring which had lost a stone, and the other was my mum's solitaire diamond engagement ring which needed all 4 claws replacing and reinforcing.Robert replaced the diamond in my gran's ring and reinforced it and re-clawed my mother's ring, steam polishing them so they looked as good as new. I am over the moon with the results! When I came to collect them they even offered to steam cleanmy wedding and engagement rings free of charge.I can't recommend Robert and his staff more highly. I will definitely be using his services again.In the future.

Really happy with Robert’s Fine Jewellery; excellent service, and Robert made some wonderful suggestions to solve a problem we were having with an item of jewellery we had bought elsewhere.
