Varohna Frameworks - Varonha Frameworks | Varonha Frameworks build, repair and renovate steel bicycle frames. With over 35 years of experience in the frame building business, proprietor, Winston Vaz is equipped will all the skills and knowledge of a master of his craft. Since leaving school at the age of 16, Winston Vaz has been building and repairing steel bicycle frames. He started to learn his craft at the Holdsworthy Cycle Company where he learned the different skills required of a frame builder such as brazing, silver soldering shot blasting and filing. After working there for nine years he went on to work as a frame builder for Roberts Cycles in Croydon where he worked for 27 years building road and mountainbike frames. Now, Winston works in Hither Green in South London repairing frames and building bespoke steel frames for customers with very individual requirements.

Can't recommend these guys enough! Wasn't able to get my seat post fixed anywhere else but had a chat over the phone brought my bike in to have it sorted within an hour. Very friendly professional service for incredibly reasonable price. I will definitely be back soon!

All the rumours are true. Winston is the real deal.I arranged the night before to come to his workshop at 7am the next day, by 7:30am I had front rack eyelets and a better understanding of welding thanks to Winston’s patience and expertise.If you need something done to a steel frame, use Winston.

Winston saved my bike! Last week I bent my gear hanger and most bike shops wouldn't dare to touch it in fear of braking my frame. I took it to Varonha because they specialise in steel frame bikes, Winston was able to fix my gear hanger in about an hour and i had my bike back for an affordable price. The guys were very knowledgeable and very friendly!

Got in touch with Winston for a quick-and-dirty structural repair of a cargo bike tube that had rusted through and cracked. He was helpful and honest about the work that needed to be done, and charged a very fair price. He seems to prefer telephone contact and bikes dropped off in-person.As it was a small job, we arranged for a day when he could carry out the work as I waited. I'm very happy with the prompt service I received, and even made it to work on time afterwards!

Winston and Mario helped me repair a botched second hand steel bike that came with a seized seat post. Winston was excellent and explained what was needed. Mario then helped paint the frame to a different colour.I'd highly recommend them - honest, careful workmanship at reasonable prices. Excellent service.

I was looking for a frame builder/repairer that could repair the downtube shifter bosses on my Reynolds 653 tubing. Not many businesses offer that service particularly as a 'while you wait'. Winston advised me over the phone re: preparing the bike frame and followed up on my questions. Just had the work done today. After seeing the lovely frame paint jobs in the workshop, Winston directed me to a nice cafe, I got a coffee and did some emails in the local park until Winston rang within the hour. A great job was done and amazingly Winston managed to preserve the decals close to the brazing site and also touched up the brazing site with some paint as well as tapping the thread into the shifter bosses. Tremendous value!! I am really pleased and I am looking forward to getting the bike back on the road.
