Matt Watson Golf

I found the lesson with Matt very clear and informative and i came away feeling that I could move forward with my golf. I took the lesson onto the course and it worked 95% of the time.Good result!

I knew my game needed some outside help and Matt was recommended by a number of club members. My first lesson was in the indoor facility at Cowdray, a fantastic experience. Not only was Matt exceptional at understanding the issues which were inhibiting my ball striking but gave very clear pointers and drills leading to a really surprising level of improvement. Matt’s use of Trackman within the lesson, really backed up the teaching with the data available showing just how much my ball striking improved.I’ve signed up for 4 lessons, the next one a playing lesson. So much looking forward to learning a whole lot more.Thanks Matt

I had my first lesson with Matt recently and it was brilliant. I couldn’t believe he added 30 yards to my 7 iron in 60 minutes. I am looking forward to seeing how else he can help my game. Thanks Matt.

I can honestly say this was the most productive 45 minutes I have had. Matt identified a major problem ( probably one of many!) immediately and hey presto my shots went much further and most definitely straighter. Obviously I have to transfer this information from the golf studio to the fairways but it was my first lesson with him so watch this space!

Had real problems with my iron shots. One bad game, don't worry too much, two bad games, maybe a problem. Three bad games go see the Pro. Matt was great. Picked up three issues, swing plane, grip and club position. I would highly recommend Matt. Last game, back on track. Thanks Matt!

Followed high recommended advice from friends, to visit Matt for an initial visit and lesson.I'm a 3 handicapper and previously visited well-respected and knowledgable pros in Sussex.Pre-lesson information and booking process was clear and professional.Booked initial 30-minute lesson.Matt was clear at start of lesson to gain more information about my past lessons and general play at current time. Asked good questions and listened carefully. Asked what my aim for my golf is and expectations of this lesson.Lesson was the best I've had!!-Excellent use of Trackman to gain initially info that was clearly explained to me.- confirmed and acknowledged strengths of my swing and highlighted main area to work on within moments.Added more knowledge to my own of golf swing science.- clear and personal knowledge shared in a well-pitched way.This was superb: taught me as individual, not to a set golf system or swing approach/fad!- clear drills explained and reasons shared, to logically explain and add to my knowledge of the golf swing, applied to me.By end of lesson, had clear strategy of practice that I couldn't wait to implement.After a bucket of balls later, played a round that i hit the ball best i have in years.Matt took time to text after and follow up with main points from lesson.Looking forward to practice and my next session.Thank you for comfirming what I'm good at and clearly stating what will help me meet my goals.Happy golfer!Lesson 2:Much the same as above.
