A bit of a later review but we went there to get some fabric for curtains and the gentleman there was extremely friendly, patient and helpful. We had no idea what we were looking for as I've never made curtains before and he gave us excellent advice regarding measurements etc. Very honest about the quality of the material and what we should/shouldn't go for regardless of the price. I have listened to his advice and one paid of beautiful curtains have already been completed. Definitely will go back and 100% will recommend it to others.

An unexpected gem in the heart of Uxbridge. An excellent fabric shop with an old fashioned service and attention to customer satisfaction.Mario's is welcoming and knowledgeable and able to source materials based on his ability to understand customer requirements.He shows interest in his customers and their creations which assists with choosing the right materials for the garment to be made.Marios also does material for curtains, table coverings and soft furnishings.We went to his stall and bought a few different materials, two for a couple 70's style shirts.My wife who is Liberty trained made a psychedelic shirt and a country and western style with a skull patern.I would certainly recommend this place for materials and excellent service.

This is surely THE BEST fabric (and foam) shop in Middlesex!! We needed new memory foam for our old sofa... Mario gave us a quote and rather than just sell us the size we thought was correct, advised us to re-check our figures... We revisited his shop with our cushion and cover and he confirmed that our cushion wasn't a usual size..!! He ordered our foam which came quickly and we are extremely pleased with the quality and fitted perfectly... We highly recommend his store, can't wait to get some fabrics in the New Year!! Fantastic selection of Fabric!! We made sofa covers out of a luxurious velvet look fabric the covers are still in great condition after being used many times and washed after 4 years! I would definitely recommend purchasing fabric from this shop!

Fabric, foam, and friendly help!I make crocheted bags and buy fabric here to line them (pictured).I’ve also just bought some good quality foam to make a cushion. Foam shops are few and far between these days but Marius showed me different types, ordered up what I wanted and cut it to size.To my delight he has also put me in touch with a reasonably priced upholsterer, another service that’s difficult to find in the area.A fabulous little local business.
