B&Q Romford - Tangent Link

I don't know if it's an East london thing but bandq anywhere in Romford, Dagenham and neighbouring areas have the worst customer service. They seem to hire people who are unfriendly and think they can talk to customers however they like.

Love this b&q usually have everything we need, was also served by an extremely amazing women called Debbie at the TradePoint counter. So nice friendly and professional and actually made my day. Ronnie is also very friendly. Thank you

Absolutely disgusted with the staffs attitude in this store, this is the second time I have come in and been treated rudely by unhelpful staff, I will not be returning here. They are either too busy on their mobile phones or apparently it takes 5 of them to serve one customer! Wow!

Visiting B&Q Romford 7.30 am empty shop 7th August asked for help froma young lady who said her name was Maria, who showed from the off that she didn't want to help me. I was told I don't know.I asked if a man could help me find a TV wire that was called over headset. As I walked off, Maria speaks no, he can't help either after whispering through a headset to him.After coming here for years and leaving a glowing report previously for young staff, now you are totally let down by Maria if that is her name. What shoddy customer service and lazy effort by staff you employ.Honestly cannot believe that this is the best you can offer someone who can't be bothered....give a job to someone who wants a job and is willing to help.

Lazy, ‘can’t be asked’ attitudesVisited the store, pressed the assistance button for help with an item.Two colleagues acknowledged me standing at an aisle, one on lunch, no problem at all, but the other fixing her mascara in a display bathroom mirror.Again pressed for assistance, again looked at, but left standing there.Finally found a group of managers meeting in the kitchen area who radioed for said ‘mascara fixing’ colleague to assist. Obvious she couldn’t be bothered.Thankfully a helpful team member Ahmed came to assist.During this time I happened to see a fellow customer ask where an item was several times, poor thing walking up and down the aisles, in literal laps without any clear help.Headed to checkout, now met by team member on radio, scanned item; again without acknowledging me. When I dared to interrupt her conversation she immediately jumped down my throat before I could finish my question.B&Q club… not sure who want want to be part of this when your customer facing team are rude, disinterested and indifferent to their customers.Left the item and do not plan to ever return to this store.

Typical B&Q. Got almost everything you need and the prices are too big to swallow.Trolleys are available. Staff ensures the shop is well presented however there is limited staff to ask questions or queries to.

Didn’t get the young man’s name came into the store on Sunday 20th august looking for wall tiles he went out the back and got 10 boxes of the newest stock was so helpful Thankyou so much

The most unhelpful 'can't be bothered ' attitude from 4 out of 6 people in the store. Looking for advice on draft excluder for skirting board and sent from one place to another only to be me with yet another unhelpful member of staff!!!
