I would extremely, highly recommend them, in 2021 I used Mitchell's funeral service it was for my much loved dad. I had lost my mum 3 months before that so I was all over the place. Liam and his team were absolutely outstanding from first meeting ( which was in the comfort of my own house so I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point) to when It came to the funeral. My dad needed a post mortem and liam wasn't sure if I was going to get to see my dad as it might have been too much , however Liam and his team made sure of it and I got to say my goodbyes. I will be ever grateful for the way they supported me and helped me through a really tough time but also for the care they gave to my dad. They certainly looked after him.

This family will take care of your family. From start to finish, they were so considerate and took us through every aspect of what we needed in order to make our arrangements. These guys really took the stress from us and made it so easy to focus on our family.Thanks so much to Irene, Liam & family for all their efforts. Bless you guys.

We are truly grateful to Mitchells family run funeral directors for the professional and exceptional service the team has provided for my dad’s funeral earlier this month. We couldn’t have asked for better and you guys have genuinely fulfilled beyond our expectations. And all this for an extremely reasonable and fraction of a price other funeral companies would offer. From my first call with Irene, who talked me through the process showing great compassion and dignity which was then followed by Liam’s visit with the family to discuss all the plans and service. Having never dealt with arranging a funeral before, we had loads of questions. Liam was very understanding and patient with our questions and made no haste to rush with the meeting. He provided us with all the necessary information and explained all the options and next steps, there was no push to mis-sell options/services and was very clear and honest with the costs/fees. Right up to the day of the funeral, Liam stayed in touch and nothing was too much of a ask. He showed a great attention to every detail and ensured everything was in order and smoothly done right from online obituary, florist, organist, order of service, web streaming etc.Genuinely, we are so glad that we chose Mitchells and once again we would like to thank Liam and his team from the bottom of our hearts for impeccable service and making a stressful time more easily bearable. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for funeral services.

From the first phone call to Mitchell’s family (Irene)they dealt with all arrangements for my Grand funeral in a very efficient, professional but thoughtful manner. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Liam came out to my house to arrange the funeral which made it easier in a time of great stress during the current circumstances, they were able to conduct a service that was beyond what I imagined could have taken place due to the restrictions and for that I will be forever thankful. The level of thoughtfulness that went in to the proceedings was also very much over and above what was required. Thank you to Liam, Irene for everything.

I couldn’t recommend Mitchell’s more. They were extremely professional and made the whole process easier to handle. Liam was so accommodating and kind. Irene was always on the other end of the phone to answer questions and reassure us. I hope I don’t need to use their services any time soon but should I, I wouldn’t think twice about using them again.

I have taken longer than I should have to post this review for which I apologise. Mitchells were amazing when I contacted them to take care of my lovely mum Sheila. They were friendly, caring, professional and extremely helpful. They came to the house and explained everything so clearly and kept in touch in the run up to the funeral. They were marvellous on the day too. Donna the celebrant is so lovely and very caring too. I have recommended to a friend and will be doing so again. Don't hesitate to use Mitchells when the need arises.

Liam and his lovely family handled my Grandfather’s funeral with compassion, ease and kindness. They were very warm and friendly and chatting with Liam in between parts of the service was really calming and comforting during a very emotional day. My Grandfather had his own family business and supporting one was very important to him. You could definitely tell it was a family run business by the sincere and warm way they conducted themselves from start to finish. Very personal and very accommodating service. Would absolutely recommend.
