Whitby Park and Ride
Highly recommend using P&R in Whitby. It’s difficult to get into the town by car and parking is severely limited. The P&R is easy to find, buses are frequent and the convenience, given that Whitby is best viewed on foot anyway, can’t be beat.

Lovely park and ride.We visited last week ( a Saturday) there was plenty of room for parking/spaces. Clean and tidy.Quick to get a bus into town & not long to wait to return.Definitely use again.

A really easy way to visit Whitby. Easy parking and a short journey to Whitby Station, in the heart of the town. Save your energy for the 199 steps to the Abbey!

Whitby Park and Ride
Good idea to park here and take a leisurely ride into Whitby centre, especially if you want to avoid the hassle of parking in the busy bits, or will be there for more than 3 hours which will cost more. Adult tickets cost us £2.60 (round trip) and the parking is free with that, as are the toilets. Taking the P1 or P2 bus to or from the bus station, the buses are regular and take about 10 minutes.

Really convenient parking at a reasonable price. Parking can be an issue in Whitby at the best of times, so this provides a much needed service.With multiple stops around Whitby, you can be dropped on the top of North Cliff by the paddling pool, or at the train station in town.The drivers are really friendly, or certainly the ones we had were.Also the toilet facilities at the park and ride are some of the cleanest we've seen.

Simple park and ride. Lots of spaces and not a lot of waiting time for the bus. It was around £5.20 for two people (or a family) to get a return trip which is a lot cheaper than parking in Whitby.The bus driver was friendly and advised exactly where to get return journey and last bus times.It was a quick journey and made the day a little easier. Thanks

Make life so much easier.We was able to claim £1 off fare with our bus pass.Plenty if spaces and an excellent toilet.Staff very helpful. Highly recommended.

Whitby Park and Ride
So easy hop on the bus and in 10 minutes you’re in Whitby. Free parking and toilets ate park and ride. A lot easier than trying to park in the bay itself. Definitely using it again.
