Wanted a more up to date year for our cabriolet smart so rang Newton’s and low a behold one had just come in a starsky and hutch one . Drives superb. Will be back in a few years to buy an 18 plate '.

Was looking for a car that I could use in the London ULEZ, thought Newtons had what I wanted, the car was good value but sadly when we entered the reg details it came up as chargeable.

I know nothing about cars but Paul is very helpful and patient. He even did something which he doesn’t need to to help me. And Gareth gave prompt and detailed response to my enquires too. I seldom do a review. Highly recommend!

Bought a car but had to take it back after a few days as air conditioning not working and the screen wasn't displaying properly. Told it wasn't covered by the warranty, but this has now been sorted. We had to take it to a garage to have air con re-gassed, then take it back a week later to have it checked for leaks. Then had to go back again to have a condenser fitted, leaving the car for four hours having to get taxis. I feel Newtons should have driven the car to the garage and got this sorted, as it wasn't our place. We bought the car in good faith thinking everything worked. Feel the car should have been thoroughly checked before it was sold. I wouldn't have bought a car with no air conditioning. Anyway, all sorted and Newtons covered the costs, rightly so.

Came across the listing for a Diahatsu Sirion on eBay. I contacted Gareth and asked would he deliver the car to the Isle of Wight. The answer was a solid yes, so I agreed to purchase the car. Coming from Canada this is my first car since coming back to the UK. Gareth and the team were so helpful and actually made sure everything went off without worry. Would I buy a car from Newton's again? Yes!

I had been searching for a mark 1 Audi tt cabriolet and spotted a fine example on Newtons web site.I was very apprehensive about buying a car without actually seeing it and using a delivery service, however, from the initial contact to the final delivery, Gareth has been an absolute star, with his cheerful, helpful and professional manner.The car was delivered by Sam, who like Gareth was very professional and friendly. The delivery process could be tracked right to my door. Amazing !I would highly recommend Newtons and will certainly not hesitate to contact them when my wife's car needs replacing.

We needed a second car for my wife and spotted a lovely looking Hyundai for sale. They were really helpful on the phone and were happy to arrange a viewing at short notice. Very accommodating and the car was in excellent condition.

Only one star due to after sales support paid 10K for a car phoned today after picking car up yesterday as my wife's remote key didn't work when she tried to use the car the owner told me to tell her to put a new battery in it when I asked if they check the remotes on a PDI he said it was not his problem it was down to Tony.
