BOYS AND GIRLS.
This new establishment is a fantastic addition to the growing food scene in Cardigan, offering something different to what’s already available. The sharing plates are all fantastic and include leek croquettes and fried pickles with blue cheese dip. There’s a great choice of burgers which are all superb, with the chicken one probably being the tastiest chicken burger I’ve ever had. The desserts are also absolutely fabulous, whether it’s the tarte tatin, chocolate pudding or the cheesecake. The wine selection is fantastic and Mattia is the perfect host who’s extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they’re doing, whilst also being very helpful with any wine choices. The place has been done up in a smart but relaxed manner and it’s great to see a restaurant championing local Welsh food and wine. We will be back!

BOYS AND GIRLS.
Service was great, incredibly knowledgeable about local wines and spirits. Very friendly and warm welcome. Wine was absolutely lovely too, as was our burgers and sides. Great experience, will be there again soon!!!

Had a lovely karagee chicken burger and leak and ham croquettes, more wine by the glass would be nice given the fantastic range so I opted for a yummy Welsh cider

BOYS AND GIRLS.
We were both sadly disappointed by our meal at Boys and Girls. Although the restaurant reacted well with not charging us for fries, they were far too salty (inedible). Not a lot of choice for vegetarians/vegans. A burger for £14 which was quite bland, with the smashed burgers lacking any char was a shame. Enjoyed the pickles with blue cheese dip. Overall, it’s such a good space, but I think the food lets it down. Would much rather Yr Hen Printworks if out to spend a few more hard earned pennies than usual. Hopefully things will improve as they are brand new here. We did cancel our Sunday booking off the back of this evening experience.

Nice decor, friendly service, I had a beef burger which was very nice, there are some very interesting options on the menu and local bluestone larger to was it down, good size portions.

BOYS AND GIRLS.
So we decided to try the newest restaurant in Cardigan for brunch.Service was fantastic, server was really attentive and food was quick.The food was okay, I ordered the chicken and waffles. The portions are good however for some reason served on really small plates which makes it hard to eat.The chips and dip were delicious and the Ruben was also good.Coffee was delicious, loved the cups they were served in.Looking forward to trying dinner there.

BOYS AND GIRLS.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Boys and Girls. The menu is small but well curated with a bunch of good starter/side options in addition to the burgers. Some great options for natural wines too, including some UK based producers. The music was good and the service was friendly and attentive but not fussy.

BOYS AND GIRLS.
Had a lovely meal here last night. We’ve been excited to go for a while and had been booked in for opening evening but had to cancel. We had the Beef and Chicken burgers with sides of the Fried Pickles, the Croquettes and the tomato. All delicious. The pickles were my favourite, the croquettes my partners. We had the fries with the wild garlic mayo and they might be the best fries I’ve ever had. Burgers were fantastic and will certainly be going back. We did not try the natural wine though, a beer and a soft drink meal for us. Would ask for some bottled cider options if not on tap. We’ll miss El Salsa hugely but a great addition to the local area and one that we hope will be open throughout the year!

BOYS AND GIRLS.
Such a special little place. Our food was freshly cooked to order and was simply delicious. The leek croquettes must be tasted to be believed. We ordered a mixture of the 'tapas style' plates and a beef burger. All were perfection. The ambience is funky and fresh but comfortable. Loved it! 5stars!!!
