Al-Hayat Centre Southampton

We are so fortunate to finally have an Islamic Institution with such vision. Al Hayat is a credit to our city and we should make the most of it. My children absolutely love it. Shaikh Rizwan Al-Azhari and his wife Ustadha Sidrah Ahmed are extremely knowledgeable and influential individuals who are up to speed with modern day Islamic life and what it entails. Non-Muslims also benefit from their efforts. Both are very humble, approachable and hardworking. We pray and hope Al Hayat will reach new heights that we have never experienced before and our youth benefit from this, Inshallah.

I had an amazing experience at the Al Hayat. Sidrah and imam Rizwan are the best Arabic teachers I’ve ever had. Despite starting out older at 16, I’ve learnt so much. Amazing learning techniques and resources. Recommend for all students and anyone wanting to learn Arabic and more about Islam.

Mashallah this is such an amazing Mosque run by amazing Imam and teachers. i cannot recommend this Centre enough and encourage anyone who is interested in visiting an open, welcoming mosque or mosque school to visit Al-Hayat Centre. you will be thoroughly impressed inshallah.

An excellent mosque/madrasah really ahead of its time. A welcoming atmosphere that attracts the most wonderful of people led by highly professional who genuinely care about the youth.If you’re in the South East, this is the environment to be a part of. Highly recommend for a visit or to enrol children in its madrasah!

Mashallah, my daughter learnt so much from the Ramadan workshop. She came home and told me everything she learnt and was so excited to share her experience. I can only thank Al-Hayat for providing such an insightful experience and hope there to be more of these events in the future Inshallah.

Delighted to have my daughter attend the Ramadan workshop, first time taking part in masjid activities. As my daughter wanted me to stay with her for part the session I was able to see that teaching. I felt islamic themes were taught well thoroughly, simple yet precise for kids to understand. I had been looking for the right setting for my daughter to learn deen from specific teachers and in a group environment of children. And this is exactly what I had in mind. I will definitely be taking my daughter again, to future lessons and events to continue growing her confidence & love for deen. I'm well impressed by the organisation and just wanted to say jazakAllah kheir to the teachers & the team, for their high standard of teaching & care. May Allah SWT reward you all abundantly.

Miss Sidra and Imam Rezwan have always been good teachers and worked so hard on my children. They are nice and friendly and I wouldn’t be surprised of their achievements. May Allah bless you and bless all our children and rewards you for all your hard work.

Al Hayat is an excellent centre for learning and a beautiful place of worship. Our children have studied with Shaykh Rizwan al-Azhari and Ustadha Sidrah Ahmed for several years. They are fantastic teachers, and great role models. The centre has a lovely team and congregation.

Al-Hayat Centre is no doubt a forerunner in providing quality educational services, with excellent youth facilities and is open and welcoming to all. This is what a masjid is supposed to be. An inspiration to all other Mosques/Madrassahs and leading the way in Education and Youth Work. Alhamdulillah
