Academy of Public Speakers

The Academy of Public Speakers is the perfect forum to face up to that all too prevalent fear of standing up and speaking to a room full of people.You find yourself in an environment where everyone is in the same boat, with a common focus which makes for a friendly environment.Andy and Brian are very aware of who is in the room and what their level of comfort is so you can feel confident that you won’t be taken out of your depth.The exercises are short, light and funny and as they are designed to make you think on your feet you are more focused on what to say next than the fact that you are standing in front of a group of strangers.So stand up, face into the wind and cut your public speaking teeth in a comfortable and fun environment.

The best decision I've ever made was to join the Academy. Both Andy and Brian are amazing coaches and really take the time to assist in preparing you for public speaking and presenting infront of an audience. I'd highly recommend anyone to join as it's definitely building my confidence and I'm only on class 4. The classes are different each week with plenty of opportunities given to stand up and talk and lots of tips to learn how to master being a confident public speaker

A great format, Brian and Andy are very professional and you'll definitely find it useful in overcoming your public speaking fear. Looad of opportunities to put yourself out there and practice whilst receiving productive feedback, in a friendly and welcoming environment.

I’m very glad that I found this. Public speaking has always been my biggest fear. I’ve been attending for 2 months now and although I still have work to do, I am definitely feeling more confident each week. The classes are enjoyable and have a friendly atmosphere.

I joined the Academy of Public speakers because I had taken a Finance Director role and was desperate to polish my ability to think on my feet and contribute to meaningful conversations. Although I was super nervous from the onset, my confidence grew from week to week through the guidance of Andy and Brian. I think back to a few weeks ago and I can’t believe how far I have come. I am now comfortable and volunteer to present at work. The discomfort in my throat is gone and I am able to share my ideas in meetings.

I am currently taking an outstanding public speaking class with Andy and Brian, and I can confidently say that it has been an incredible experience. The course is well-structured, engaging, and informative, and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process.The other members of the course are really encouraging and helpful. The community of members is very supportive in a learning environment, and I feel that we all learn a great deal from each other.The course covers a wide range of topics, including speech writing, body language, and vocal projection. It is providing me with the tools and confidence needed to become a more effective public speaker.Andy and Brian's teaching style is both engaging and interactive, allowing for plenty of hands-on practice and feedback. Joining the academy of public speakers has been one of the best decisions I’ve made to date. I joined the group as someone with very little confidence speaking in front of audience which was holding me back. The meetings have given me opportunities to face my fears and develop my confidence public speaking in a supportive environment and I couldn’t be more thankful to Brian and Andy for the work they have done with me.
