Only our 4th trip out with the crew on Huntress Charters and again you have out done yourselves!4hr evening wreak & reef and even whilst being harassed by the dolphins, Jamie put us on the mark time after time.A fantastic session filled with laughter, and most importantly fish, was had by all on-board.Jamie and all the crew of Huntress Charters, please do not stop what you are doing.No1 in Cornwall for fishing charters without doubt.You will not be disappointed.

Omg what a amazing experience, when with James you are guaranteed a big fish. He is just such a welcoming guy with a amazing boat and business. Who knows you may even see dolphins.Don’t wast money on just sight seeing go with James you get everything 10/10!!

Really enjoyed fishing today aboard the Huntress with Jamie!Jamie’s knowledge of the local fishing grounds is superb and he’s very conscious to make sure everyone aboard has a great experience.We did the 1.5 hour mackerel trip today, but enjoyed it so much that we’re going on the 4 hour reef and wreck trip on Saturday!The boat is amazing, quick and comfortable so Jamie is keen to move around if you’re not catching.Highly recommended from me and my 2 lads!Second day out with Jamie on the Huntress for the 4 hour trip and some amazing fish!!!

My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic 4 hour fishing trip out at sea with Jamie and a small group of fellow fishing enthusiasts. It was my first ever fishing trip. I absolutely loved it. I was so excited when I caught my first chunky whiting. I tried some raw sushi which was delicious. We spotted a grey seal from a distance, as Jamie explained, it is important to respect these animals when viewing them in their natural habitat and try not to disturb them or get too close. I highly recommend Huntress Charters Fishing Trips and I will definitely be going sea fishing again with Jamie but next time it will be for an 8 hour trip because 4 hours seemed to just fly by. Jamie also advised me on which rod, reel and line to purchase for pier fishing from Mevagissey Harbour Wall.

A great morning fishing aboard the Huntress with Jamie. Great variety of fish and knowledge as well as being patient and helpful with a bunch of amateurs. Top day out, will definitely be out again.

Jamie and his dad were brilliant guides, story tellers and just good people. We caught lots of fish and our kids had a blast. I would highly recommend going out with them.

Brilliant day fishing with Jamie. Caught a wide variety of fish as well as enjoying the coastal trip with dolphins and seals as an added bonus. Also some very sound advice on where to get the best pasties when we landed back in Mevagissey!

We enjoyed a 90 minute mackerel fishing trip with Jamie during our fortnight’s holiday to Cornwall and it was one of the best days of the holiday! It was great fun and we all caught plenty of fish (which we later cooked for tea!). Not only that we also got to see dolphins and fed some of the fish to a couple of seals who were in the harbour at the end of our trip. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back for more next year.

We had an amazing evening mackeral fishing with Jamie and his dad. We caught tons of mackeral, so many we lost count - they clearly knew the best spots! They went out of their way to take us to watch a school of dolphin, which Jamie‘s brother had tipped him off about, and we watched them leaping out of the water and shooting alongside the boat. We also saw a friendly seal. The guys were incredibly kind in showing us how to fillet the fish and were even generous enough to give us a decent knife to go home with, confident that we had had a masterclass to (try and) replicate. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Very fun, very professional, they went above and beyond for us.

Another amazing trip on the mighty Huntress. I can honestly say that Jamie has both the gear and knowledge to make either a complete novice or keen locals looking to go further out to sea very happy. Willing to try new spots, with a seemingly endless supply of new and Gucci tackle to keep everyone smiling. Not a bad coffee too. See you soon.Oh, the dolphins next to the boat is always a bonus.
