Bacchus Wine Tasting

Bacchus Wine Tasting absolutely made my 30th birthday! My friends and I learnt a lot about wine in a relaxed and fun setting that suits wine nerds (me) to those just looking for a drink (my friends). Will be booking again and cannot recommend enough!

A great experience on the L2 WSET course, expertly delivered by Johnathan! It has given me a completely new perspective of wine, how it’s made and what to look out for on the labels. Thanks Johnathan, would certainly recommend!

What an amazing weekend hosted by Johnathan. Can honestly say it was by far the best weekend full of delicious food amazing wines and I was even educated. I’m booked on for next year !!!

We had a fantastic private wine tasting with Johnathan for my 40th birthday. He suggested the Taste of England theme because our event coincided with English Wine Week, and it did not disappoint. The seven wines included fizz, white, rosé, and a red to finish. The selection had loads of variety so there was something for the varied tastes in our group. They were all excellent quality, and it was great to see the wines that had been hand-picked on the recent Bacchus English wines tour (one to aspire to!!) We enjoyed chatting about the different production methods and how they create different styles of wine, and the beauty of the private wine tasting is the opportunity for the wine geeks in our party to ask loads of questions. Thank you Johnathan for answering them all :) I would definitely recommend the Bacchus wine tasting experience as a great way to celebrate a special occasion.

We had such a fun and interesting evening with Jonathan for my wife’s birthday with our friends.The wine and cheese selection was fantastic, as were the wonderfully informative and engaging descriptions about them too!We would definitely recommend Bacchus Wine Tasting to our friends and Im sure we will see Jonathan again soon!

Absolutely fantastic!!!! We first went to a Bacchus wine tasting in a local pub, and it was so good we hired Johnathan for our private event. We held a wine tasting for 15 people, Johnathan was beyond all expectations and the evening was perfect. Extremely knowledgeable and very good fun. We can't wait to do it again!

Hosted a number of Wine & Cheese events with Johnathan. His knowledge and expertise is second to none. He has great passion for his wines and this comes through with his hosting, which is also very informative and great fun.Looking forward to future events with you.

Thank you for a brilliant evening of wine tasting exploring the big reds. Johnathan created a really intimate and informal evening showing his indepth knowledge of the wines, was really interesting and the wine was gorgeous too.

5/5 Wine tasting!This was our first wine tasting experience and wee were so curious as to how wine could possibly be paired with Asian cuisine. Johnathan blew our minds away as it worked S O well!!Johnathan is so knowledgeable about the wines and the whole experience was incredible. We’re buying a notepad for our future bookings so we can decide which ones to buy as we became foggy headed towards the 4th glass haha.
